Yeah, I mean here in Peru they skipped the first wave of Kingdom and yet we got the second while we got everything except the Deluxes from the third wave (Will have to import both Scorponok and Wingfinger). I'm praying that both Waspinator and Shadow Panther hit Phantom stores or something (I don't really care that much about Pipes and Slammer, they're fine but we're talking about Beast Wars here).

I would prefer Earth Mode Clampdown if forced to choose, but I would be perfectly happy to get Clampdown out of the Siege Sideswipe mold too. I don’t necessarily care if Clampdown “matches” Deep Cover.

Can't wait to have the Auto-Bop duo together on my shelf. I really loved G1 for it's episodes that focused on Autobots relationships and teamwork independent from Optimus and/or Bumblebee. It's probably the reason why when ever we get a new G1 figure is announced people get all giddy because almost every character had their spotlight episode where we learned more about them.

I love most Transformers series but I got to give it to G1 for having the greatest variety in stories and conflicts. Cyberverse kinda replicates this type of storytelling but I'd really like to see something more inline with G1 with a huge cast of characters that can be watched in any order with no overarching story or grand purpose.

 

What're you expecting from Pulsecon?

 

Well, I was expecting a big Legacy reveal, but honestly I don't know anymore. The way Hasbro falsely overhypes things lately like with the last few fan fests has made me start taking everything with a grain of salt, and the way its going, I wouldn't be suprised if they end up just doing a Kingdom wave 4 reveal...

I'm pretty sure Legacy is the big reveal for Pulsecon, there's no other place to do it, Hasbro isn't showing up at regular conventions anytime soon so online reveals are the future. It's too high profile to be an FFF either so this is all you have.

 

Yeah, Pulsecon seems tailor-made for introducing all of Hasbro's new 2022 toylines.

Yeah I just feel like it’s too soon for a Legacy reveal. I can see them showing wave 4 and maybe wave 5 and call it a day. Anything beyond that will be a pleasant surprise. (Golden Disk, Legacy, etc)

I can almost guarantee that Hasbro will show off the rest of Kingdom during a Fan First before that. There's a whole month left on Star Saber and just like with Galactus they're going to want to have a chance to pimp him out some more and give updates. And just like with Galactus since he's already been talked about they'll need some actual reveals. Besides, the rest of Kingdom is only six figures (Waspinator, Pipes, Slammer, Shadow Panther, Tigatron, and Blaster) regardless if the rumor that two of the deluxes have been pushed from wave 4 to wave 5 ends up being true so they can basically reveal both at the same time.

 

I was wondering how it would have looked an Siege Sleep Mode Optimus Prime, the Netflix series kinda hinted it in Earthrise and I'm not that much of buying repaints of figure unless they really like it and this one would be a case. The Siege mold for Optimus was great though and I really liked that idea of Optimus being killed in battle and his corpse just floating in space as the ark falls in the earth without his leader.


And yes, Earthrise repaint exists but I would also liked to see this idea on a figure from Siege mold. (what can I say, I like the fallen hero Prime concept ).

Yeah your right, I just made that post because I honestly cannot believe how poorly Hasbro has handled Wave 4. I get that there are probably reasons, but come on, its not like its very hard to just take even 30 minutes and just show off the figures, then release the high quality promo shots at a later date. Idk, thats all I'll say because I can hear myself starting to sound ranty...Excited for Legacy tho!

I'd say its pretty good timing actually, Kingdom is wrapping up once wave 4 runs its course (wave 5 is pretty well just repacks, no?), and it'll be good to build up excitement a few months in advance.

I mean, fair enough, but I know I'm not alone in this thinking, and when Habsro basically tells us to get excited, then delivers by dedicating one stream to an expensive project that will pretty well only cater to a certain crowd, and another to one new deluxe, two very bare bones repaint/retools, and a high end collector chess set, its hard not to be disappointed (and no, I'm not "mad" about either of those streams, or their contents, I just expected more, as did most of us).
