The two are not mutually exclusive. Shipping/distribution issues could easily be gumming up the works, and they could be bad at their jobs. I agree though about the low energy though, especially with the bearded husky dude. He looked like he took one too many Quaaludes before the last two FFFs.

I cant wait to never find this at retail as well as waiting endless months-worth of delays online.

 

I am surprised that Hasbro did not officially announce it before or that at least there is already stock in US retail stores, and that it arrives in Chile sooner.

I wonder if the store where these figures arrived are also retail or to order (type filter) in a collector's store.

 

Hasbro's shit distribution and marketing was a problem well before covid even had a patient zero.
In fact, I would say it got better during the pandemic but even then the bar is already extremely low.

 

I still like Generations Thrilling 30 Waspinator. He is much better!

 

Getting waspinator, but dont have the cash to waste on a decent repaint of a mediocre mold.

Dont know bout anyone else, but the clear eyes on the thrilling 30 make it an instant pass for me, really dig the purple light piping on kingdom waspy.

Half my country is still in lockdown so we probably wont even get wave 4 as we still haven't got wave 3.

 

He is definitely not better. Both have different pros and cons. You have to judge both as a whole, not just action figures you leave standing around in bot mode. Other collectors do like to transform their transformers, display them in their alt-modes and pose them around in robot mode

Not to mention articulation!! I grew up with the original toys and I feel I cannot settle for anything less articulated than those. That's why I never bought T30. To me, the only negative point I could give to the Kingdom version would be the placement of the wasp legs, but that's such a minor thing. I don't mind the slightly less accurate bot mode proportions, cos honestly, he looks better to me this way and it's all because of a MUCH better wasp mode

 

My T30 Waspinator's shoulder pieces have cracked, I'll give this one a chance if it ever goes up for preorder.

 

Still waiting  for  the   new  studio series  deluxes to be released with Gnaw  While SLag &  wreck-gar  are out.. Wonder when these are  out october maybe. I  ordered wave  3  from BBTS  &  got them akready.I  never saw them in stores yet. But  Rhinox & core class I have.

 

I really want both. Waspinator looks so good, while I'm just really loving Shadow Panther's mutant head!

Not to mention for the price increase we get completely hollow legs! But wait, there's more!

 

It's sad that we even have to contemplate leg fillers fir a price point that has been jacked up again.

 

Eh, hollow parts, specifically inner legs/arm or backs of legs, don't really bother me that much neither does the price bump as on average figures are better than Waspinator it's just when figures like him pop up it makes you ask "What went wrong?"

I can't see me running out to pick up Waspy and will try and hold out for a better paint job but at the moment I'm not 100% on buying the Preds anyway, the fact that there isn't many to get and how good BW Megs and Scorponok looks just makes it very hard to resist. Plus it'd fill up my future BW shelf. Waiting on Rhinox and Tigatron before I do anything though, and as it is with Rhinox I hope he gets a GDC or TPF release that fixes his paint and head.
