I remember Brian being a little cagey when asked if Super 7 owns Silverhawks but it's right there in the article.

The bird screeching is nails on a chalkboard, though. Also, Copper Kid's voice is annoying as hell. I just wanted to punch him in the face when I was a kid.

I would honestly buy every single reaction from thundercats and silverhawks if S7 if they would just say they were making vehicles and play sets. That’s what I need in order to jump in on those.

I was trying so hard to ignore this line because I really don't have space for it... and today I go and preorder the entire wave 1 line up on BBTS. I guess I'll figure out where to display them later.

Oh yeah I hear you, Reaction Vehicles would be cool! Especially a ReAction Thundertank! Sadly, I think they just view it as a line to display MOSC.

They teased a Michael Knight. How cool would a ReAction K.I.T.T. be!!!

they’ve done vac metal before in reaction, and with their vintage 5.5” motu line. Brian Flynn basically said they’ll make toy decos of the hawks at some point with shiny metallic paint, but they’ll never do vac metal ultimates. They can’t vac metal the nylon parts used for articulation because the flex would chip the paint. And they can’t use abs for joints (which would be needed for vac metal) because they’ll get super loose very quickly.

edit: I’m a moron. You said reaction Silverhawks. Yes, you can pretty much guarantee the reaction hawks will be vac metal.

Little off-topic on my part, but that may be the one ReAction figure (this specific variant) I would be interested in, even in the current near 20 dollar average price-point

Yeah I own a Misfits, Great Garloo and Mars Attacks. I only bought them for the cards to stick on my wall. I’ll get this too for the same reason.

I guess why bother with the Super7 Ultimates when the Ramen Toy line will be so much cooler?

Wonder if Super7 was strong armed into sharing the license, lol.

Ramen Toy to Super7: We’re going to make SilverHawk toys with or without your consent :p

from the IP filings, it appears that Brian Flynn (s7 owner) personally owns the Silverhawks brand. So he probably just wants to diversify products and build the brand, and what better way than licensing it to 3rd parties?

“Up until this point Ramen Toy, which appears to be mostly a 2 man operation has yet to release any actual action figures.”

I get that. Just saying Ramen Toys making unlicensed Centurion figures is shady... just joking that they probably went to Super7 and said "we are making SilverHawks with or without your approval, so you want your cut or what?" :p

Kinda disappointed that S7 would give the license to a scumbag like Noel Lee

Flynn wouldn't enter into a business arrangement with people trying to strongarm him. From what I understand, the Centurions license is off the table, so doing unlicensed versions is the only way they get done. Ramen may very well have preferred to obtain the Centurions license through proper channels if that was possible.

I'm not really impressed with their 80's Commanders, so we'll see how they do with SilverHawks.
