These will probably need a lot of re-engineering to get these into coneheads, but I'd love to see it. I guess they'd all be TT Mall exclusive if even Thundercracker and Skywarp can't get a full release. I'm feel like SW and TC will be similar to Shockwave+ level hard to track down once they disappear.

This is what twitter fights and cancel culture should be about. Both sides actively trying to dehumanize the other. Also I WAS in the "intakes all the way back" group, but now I've seen the errors of my barbaric ways. I'll always click them one click forward now. Please don't doxx me!!!!

If I were to get the figure it'd be in Skywarp colors, I dont know why but I always thought of him as the taller Seeker, with Starscream being the shorter one :0

That's actually not a bad idea. Would add a little flavor instead of them all looking the same

Hey thanks!!! I'd also have the Maketoys figure be Thundercracker so hes more the medium, I like them all being different heights and looking different, but having similar styles to keep them unified in a way :>

Yep, more scale talk. This one is easy, though.

HasTak determines the scale, especially in the case of modern MP figures. If they placed SScream at Meg's chest, that's how big he's meant to be. Especially with such a large veh mode.

...not some self proclaimed super fan with a pause button (especially when that argument can be shut down within a few frames of whatever footage they found)...

...not the 3p companies for all their swagger jackin research and artistry (which does deserve it's fair share of praise, I must admit)...

I've said this before, but I don't think it's a coincidence that Grapple is slightly shorter than Inferno. Arcee slightly shorter than HotRod, but still taller than most other carbots, while Hotrod towers most carbots and yet is still shorter than Ironhide. That's why the second HasTak released Arcee, Rouge's scale was automatically wrong regardless of any pic anyone, including myself can come up with. That's why the DS Screamer is the wrong scale as well.

The IP owner determines the scale. All others are simply best guess based on interpretation.

    But IMHO.........
Sounds like plain common sense, you don’t have to agree or disagree with the choices, but it’s their IP they can interpret it how they see fit versus some randoms on the internet. Fortunately there are options for people dissatisfied with the choices.

Very true, but all we're really saying here is that TT scale gets to be considered official canon. I don't think people preferring the taller DS Starscream really have an issue with that. It's fair to say that more often than not, Starscream appeared closer in height to Megatron than the scale chart, so I understand people preferring that.

For me, 52's scale is fine. Any taller and he starts to look off next to MP Soundwave and Shockwave. IMHO it's really MP Megatron dwarfing those three Con leaders more than Starscream being too short that makes group scenes look off compared to the majority of similar scenes in the cartoon where they drew them closer in height for framing reasons.

On a related note, I think I read somewhere that Fans Toys new Soundwave is shorter than MP-13? Maybe I imagined that? So I'm wondering if MP Soundwave V2 will be a little shorter (and maybe narrower?) as well to get closer in size to Starscream and Shockwave. People often complain that MP Shockwave is too short, but after Soundwave V2 is released Shockwave may look better. Starscream's height looks fine to me.

IMO the next Masterpiece Soundwave should be as tall as MP-52.

That's at his head, not the intakes.

People are going on figure height in ShowZ listing, or something similar. Nuts if you ask me. I'll believe it when I see it, Fans Toys Soundwave being shorter than MP-13! If anything they usually go for a taller interpretation.

Likewise I'd hope TT V2 Soundwave is the same height as MP-13. Imho, Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave all look good together. It's only when you chuck Megatron in he dwarfs them all. So he's more the outlier than Starscream imho. Scale chart accurate, yes, but usually in cartoon scenes of the Con leaders the height difference is compressed.

I agree and I don't think the MP-13 height is terrible, but on my shelf MP-13 looks really out of place now and one of the reasons for me is that he's too bulky. I would be A-OK with V2 having thinner limbs. Like MP-44 compared to MP-10. MP-10 looks ridiculous to me now. He's such a beefcake.
