Step 1 would have been actually making the effort to UNDERSTAND the little guys and their play-pattern, particularly in context of their time. Without that, it's like giving George Washington a fully-loaded M4 with weapon-mounted light, IR laser and ACOG scope with no training in how to use it beyond "trigger here, bullets come out here" and expecting him to not only make sense of it but get it made at blacksmiths for the Continental Army.

Granted, nobody loads up a car to drive longhaul to the grandparents' for Christmas anymore... are those Non-Transforming Transformers actually selling this time, or are they just Action Masters 2.0, Bigger Louder More Expensive?

Both would be such an easy reuse of Earthrise Doubledealer, though. That mold has so many potential reuses, but it hasn't even gotten a single redeco let alone a retool. It's so weird.

 

Machine Wars is pretty deep in what I like to call G1 Who Hell. Really easy to do, but I don't know if Hasbro remembers they exist.

Although who knows, perhaps the extra parts with commander class Motormaster could help to get a titan class combiner

 

Honestly we could, and should, get a full announcement of the rest of Kingdom before Pulsecon.
There are six Fridays until Pulsecon, one of them should reveal the rest of Kingdom (which if I recall correctly is just wave 4 + Blaster), and then another to reveal the golden disk collection. They should also have updates on Victory Saber. Also throw in some Studio Series on some Tuesdays and we’re golden.
If they’re still wrapping up Kingdom reveals at Pulsecon then I think that’s pretty bad.

 

Agreed. Hasbro please just give us Terrorsaur and Waspinator already. And the other characters. And some studio series. And an update on victory saber in color. And the legacy reveal. If they do all that we are cool.

 

I'm expecting very few reveals until the Haslab is over, because that's what Hasbro wants people's minds/wallets to be focused on.

This right here is the correct answer. I mean as it is that's all my wallet is focused on.

 

I mean I’m pretty sure during the Galactus campaign they were still doing regular figure reveals so I don’t know if that logic holds up.

 

Different fanbases, our last HasLab project struggled and I'm sure Hasbro doesn't want any potential strain on this one.

 

i mean, this one also doesnt cost 1 and 3 quarters of an mp-44 with a backpack to match. plus studio 01 cell being half the price didnt help.

also, star saber has reached over halfway within about a week and 2 days, and we still have the rest of september to go, plus they havent added the ones from other sites like zingpopculture

 

Yeah, but weren't most of those reveals for toys that won't be out until 2022? Kingdom and Golden Disk reveals would be dropping very close to Victory Saber. Hasbro might not want to take the risk with a fandom that's smaller than Marvel.
