Let's say that the next thing that gets revealed as a Tier Reward is something that feels like stuff with substance instead of Stuff without substance. The V-Lock Cannon is definitely stuff with substance as it's a missing accessory with added Blast Effects.

As of now, there are 5814 Backers. So far, the set is missing Star Saber's Shield. They could also include the Thermal Shot Rifle from the Robotmasters Figure of Star Saber. I mean, they could include some of the accessories that aren't normally associated with Victory Saber but are important things (MacGuffins) from the Victory Series.

My bad, I was going through TFSource and saw it was coming out in September. I guess it's a second run possibly.

I have failed at finding a conspiracy. I will go back to my corner :p
It's likely someone could have not updated the website or the script to post didn't happen.

Same here. My end goal/wish/prayer is that no more crowd funding but main stream releases even at a somewhat premium price range for JP TFs.

Personally I like that Hasbro has started this HasLab initiative. It allows fans like us to get these figures that Hasbro wouldn't normally make for retail. In a perfect world we'd get these figures regardless but this is a nice compromise where Hasbro gets to test markets and fans get to have an active and resounding impact on the franchise.

For as much shit as Hasbro gets at the moment it seems they really want to give fans what they want as best they can and are willing to work with them to get them these figures. They aren't perfect but it's obvious Hasbro is sincerely and earnestly trying.

Not to mention all these supply bottlenecks due to the current pandemic and loss of TRU. Heck, even Takara themselves are antsy at releasing products that aren't an assured hit anymore and of course for us fans who are also experiencing financial issue due to the current worldwide economic hiccups.

If our fellow toddler mass market can't sustain us(seems the case as Hb stated this CF project), I shudder the thought for us "grown ups" collectors.

I do miss going to stores and fighting the good fight for figures. I'm good with this going through HasLab, could you imagination if this was a Walgreens exclusive?

Maybe one of the tiers will be something similar to this.

I'd prefer something more exciting/useful, and not some random partsforming chaff because of something that happened in one episode. Maybe as a side bonus. But I doubt that a Victory Leo "nosecone" would be worth it to anybody sitting on the fence, waiting for that one special add-on to push the set over the edge.

  I shudder the thought if this was an "exclusive"

Iirc that space craft mode was a creation of the animators. Same with Black Zarak's double headed "dragon" mode. Those were the days when both manufacturers and animation studios really knocked their heads together to sell their products. Not what we saw with Netflix TF (okay I went tangential:lol ).

Just a curiosity question as I'm not 100% sure but how does payment with HasLab projects work? I can potentially have the money for Victory Saber now but I am seeing people saying money isn't taken until crowdfunding ends. Does anyone know for sure how this all works before I mess something up?

I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention to the news but they are saying that the worldwide shipping and delivery systems are worse now than last year. There is a trucker and worker shortage, a container shortage, and dozens of cargo ships sitting off West Coast ports for weeks waiting to be unloaded. It’s a huge mess.

Well the figure is like Omega or UM, always has been a partsformer. It would be unnatural if Starsaber wasn't a partsformer.
I think the price range for the entire set is within reason for most fans. At the online retailer I usually buy he is 200 euros. That is very reasonable.
I didn't back Unicron because he was so expensive, even if it was worth it.

And yet people are still getting their Sentinels, the Razor Crest is shipping on time as is HeroQuest so far along with all the retail and store exclusive items. Stuff is coming. It's just happening at a slower pace than normal, but if you pay attention to what Hasbro has said about the issue they have found ways to circumvent the problems.

They were referring to Victory Leo with regards to partsforming. The Simba figure (3P MP-scale Victory Leo) had a shield that was not in the original cartoon or with the toy which transformed into the "nosecone" of VL's ship mode. Personally I thought it was a cool addition but I understand if people are against something similar here to stay close to the original show.

As for Star Saber, I wouldn't count him as a partsformer. He has the Brainmaster gimmick for Saber and then a super mode in the similar vein of Armada Prime to make Star Saber.

That would impact retail, but it's not like Hasbro would take the money for this project and then go "Oops!" and cancel it.

Imagine the backlash and lawsuits if such a thing occurred.
