WIP of the trailer set I'm doing. Currently @ 30ish % done, but I really wanted to see the diamond plate rendered:


Scrapper and Long Haul look like they'll be the largest vehicles, and at scale it's large enough to hold either of them and maybe Scavenger or Bonecrusher at the same time, or at least definitely Scavenger and Bonecrusher at the same time, the two you'd want a trailer for transporting anyway. Mix Master's drum can be put off to the side, or stored sideways on the rear platform of the trailer.

but glad I am going with NA for bots, I really like how they scale with the Stunticons. My junky cell phone pic doesn't show, but the color difference is pretty significant imo. MS has that matte nylon color and NA is much more vibrant, which was to be expected.



Alt modes are good, their transformation is MP level, definitely way above anything legends class nowadays.

I hope their combined Devy mode holds up well because that's how I'm going to roll with MS.

 

so the coloring, this is really meant for menasor? I know it would be compatible but will it be in green/purple?

 

Is there a picture of these guys with MS Megatron or Seekers?
I've scrolled back a few pages and looked on Google but no one seems to compare them to anything but other combiner bots.

No, this is meant for Mixmaster. The trailer will primarily be a dark gray, with some silver, and purple and green accents.

This helps me in deciding which Shockwave to get. The New Age Shockwave is going to be shorter than these Constructicons so New Age is out.

 

I don’t have it but I know there are some gripes about MS shockwave, maybe check that thread  

 

My gripe is he's too fat. Something I can overlook.
NA Shocks looks better but (dare I say) not in scale.

 

I think the complaints are more along the lines of QC, rather than appearance. I’ll probably scoop him soon tho.

 

My Scrapper and Mixmaster came in at last! I must say that I'm very happy with this set.
I really enjoy their leg modes. Especially Scrapper -- his scoop and arms forming the toon-accurate foot arch is something to behold.

Anyone know where to get faction decals at this size? The smallest ones I have are still on the big side.

 

Check out hzj401 on evilbay. They're a reputable TF seller and have the best prices and selection of faction stickers I've come across, pretty much any size and style you need. I've ordered quite a few different sets and the quality is really good, especially for the price.

@Huub got you the megs,, but here goes a couple seekers and others. Also about that shockwave and @deaculpa mentioned the QC issues, they were very isolated and just a few ppl, the majority had no problems. Mine had 0% issues, my only minor gripe is the deadeye light piping so many painted it yellow.

 

Thanks for the vote of confidence in shockwave. I remember pondering the buy so I hopped in the thread and read a few pages, and they weren’t great so I ditched. Sounds like I chose the wrong couple pages :/ and the wrong day to stop sniffing glue  

 

Mine is fine too, no QC problems.
I do not know but if they do a run of 1000/1500 figures and only a hand full have some problems, I will say it is still not a bad deal.
When I see the reviews on Ali, have seen how many members the MS group on FB had when I was there and to see that only the select few of us are active on this forum.
I will not count on the bad reviews of just a few people but that is just me.
