Well despite them improvising with Darkmount's alt-mode I think the next Straxus would would be more Kingdom Galvatron-esk looking at his real G1 alt-mode.


And if Bulkhead is still going to be "Bulky" and have an Optimus Prime retooled after his mold. Will it be another Galaxy Upgrade?

I never said Laser Prime didn't deserve his own toy. It does, and for the most part that's what he's getting. Hes sharing legs, the least visually distinct part of his design and even then, they changed the legs between siege and earthrise. It was, what, the front of the shins and feet carried over between the two? Ignoring that point, Energon Prime doesn't share any design DNA with any other figure.

This may be a good cancel long term. The engineering might make this a disappointment. I just want the Armada guys to get their Prime and be wowed. Lord knows they've waited long enough.

(Specifically the) Cartoon Energon Optimus is a great Optimus design and my Nostalgia won't hear otherwise.


Plus he's basically paired with the G1 Galvatron design but better in 100% every single way possible, so he has that going for him.

FansHobby's offering is definitely a good thing to tide over but my biggest want is a full resurgence of the UT designs and the ethos behind it. The new and drastically different designs helped each one stand out.Yes sure it had it's duds but G1 Wheelie exists. Hell, ANY 86 figure made for the movie exists.

The shoulders would be attached to the ab section and transform as you'd expect from there.

I know the remolding would probably be a lot more extensive than just this, but ER's transformation honestly seems very similar to RTS laser prime's. Of course I'm assuming the windshield will form the actual chest, and idk if that's gonna happen.
