With us getting confirmation that we'll be seeing all of the bots from the opening scene of Bumblebee be made for SS I have a feeling that BB Arcee will end up being more of a favorite for people rather then the ER/Kingdom mold since unlike the original G1 version the BB design seems to incorporate more of the vehicle parts in her robot design. Granted it's not the original sunbow design but for those who want a less humanoid proportioned Arcee that also incorporates more of her vehicle parts in robot mode may get their wish there.

 

I don’t collect MP anymore (for the most part) but I cringed at MP Arcee’s low hanging chest.

 

That's probably the worst part about her (imo). She actually looks REALLY nice otherwise.

Hm, count me intrigued at least. I feel like, if it turns out to be true, be something like Hot Rod; the MP certainly proves that there's enough accessories for her. Plus she's like

the one figure in the WFC trilogy who could use a do-over, imo. As someone who has a hard time disliking anything with any sort of fervor, ER Arcee was... well.

 

I'm not sure a voyager Arcee would be that much better. Like, her transformation is absolute nonsense, and her best more traditional looking figure is the T30/Legends mold, and that was a deluxe with a good number of accessories. Would that with better ankles and even more fluff in the box really be worth the voyager price tag?
If we were to get a G1 Voyager Arcee, I'd hope it'd at least be an IDW design, and I hate her idw designs. Even the highly praised terminator design, cause like, people say she's not a shell former because she slipped on some big ass rectangle car shoes, but, it's still the same design she's just wearing boots instead of a backpack.

 

Arcee just needs a brand new design that actually has vehicle kibble

 

I'm curious how those figures will be handled since they don't have vehicle modes nor were they designed with vehicles in mind.

Which could potentially benefit Arcee because they could give her a vehicle mode that better lends to her robot mode design and proportions without needing to be accurate to anything on its own, but I guess we'll see.

 

The Kingdom line sells out at my Target including Arcee, and they constantly restock her, and it still gone from the shelf in a week or two. I don’t live in the best area if there truly is a sought after toy.

I still much prefer my TR Arcee over her Thr30 version. I think the Thr30 and ER Arcee's are too waifish. If they retooled TR Arcee's torso to remove her Headmaster and get her closer to her MP version's torso, they could keep everything else the same and I'd be thrilled with her. Maybe even retool her car frontend/shield with a rounder '86-/MP-inspired car design.

Or retool the Prime RiD Vehicon into her; the "flares/boots" style would work well for her (and Elita-1 and other fembots).

Just no more shellformers and please don't limit Arcee and other fembots to motorcycle alts.

 

I mean fair, but then that isn't G1 Arcee. Her design is her design, and if it's G1 Arcee that's what they have to go with, though I understand complaints about her design, I even have similar ones for nearly all the 86 film designs.

Except frikking core Soundwave. I hadn't gotten him yet, saw him everywhere, and when I decide, what the heck, boom he's nowhere to be found.
Throw Warpath on the list too. The whole first wave is peg warming hard around here and barely saw wave 2. Nothing for wave 3 except I've seen a Wheeljack. I'm sure I'll see a lot more.

 

Down here the worst cloggers are kingdom arcee and black arachnia as well as that revolting bumblebee and spike thing which costs as much as a DELUXE here.

The absolute worst tho has to be the vomit repaint of verterbreak. Theres at least 7 or 8 at most stores with no soundwave.

 

I'd love to get the vomit vertebreak, but lockdown, so.

I don't understand Black Arachnia shelf-warming since she is an absolutely phenomenal figure. Maybe they could have found a way to box her and show her in her alt-mode. Lots of kids think spiders are cool; maybe it would have helped sales?

 

Think there’s just an over stock of it ? The things that clogged shelves here are arcees ss , wfc and cyberverse   also that satellite soundwave lol
