Any idea on when it becomes available for the Japanese market to back/preorder? That should cause a jump in numbers.

(Sorry if this has been asked/answered already. Too many pages in the thread to scroll through.)

It was around 10 days after unicron was announced for Takara to put their orders up, so today or tomorrow for VS I would imagine

Hmm? Are anyone realizing we got comparison shots with Siege Hound in the reveal video? Meaning we have a figure that can be used to figure out the scale. And that Victory Saber is essentially Star Saber wearing lifts and a backpack. Not sure if anyone realised this fact.

We can only get a general idea of size from that, as they were holding both figures up in the air, and not comparing them side by side on a hard flat surface.

I hope so too, but this is my guess so what I can see we probably won't be able to reach tier 2 or 3. I would be suprised if we had tons of backers for this cause use to blow this whole thing up and achieve not only backing the figure, but also unlocking and fully backing all three tiers. My only complaint about this Haslab Victory Saber is the number they need to achieve for each tier is little too much.
    14,000 for V-Lock Cannon & Blast Effects
    17,000 for Tier 2
    20,000 for Tier 3

Exactly that. I’d just rather the elevator gimmick than a rotating head on the middle robot that I’d never see. But I understand if I’m in the minority.

Once this is open to all the international markets, I feel without a doubt that we'll see tier 3. That 20K will be a worldwide goal, and considering many just in the US have ordered multiples, once it becomes readily available for backing, the number will skyrocket near the end.

I was thinking more like Springer riding on Razorclaw.

Keep in mind that I never watched Victory until I saw some episodes on YouTube after backing this project, but Holi looks bigger than Jan. I’d be down fir a small deluxe Holi (basically Netflix Bumblebee size) as a tier reward (with a tiny Jan similar to the crappy exosuit Daniel that came with Core ‘Bee). If I’m wrong and Holi is really micromaster-sized, Hasbro should hire away the dude who designs the Extreme Warfare figures at Dr. Wu because their version of Optimus and Soundwave are incredible (compared to the Siege Micromaters).

If it's anything like the MP, Star Saber won't have neck articulation if Saber doesn't. They're more than likely gonna use the same neck joint.

Especially if @Robogeek28 keeps convincing people in the US to order multiples . . . (he almost has me swayed to order a second)

I actually did order a second, but that's because I want one to display on my Legends shelf and one to display with my Hasbro PotP figures.

Yeah they built an entire bucket in the chest for the little guy to stand in, and the pinned plate appears to support head tilt so he can look up and down.

I wouldn't have been mad if the Saber robot had no head articulation because of the Brainmaster gimmick, because the gimmick is really cool IMO, but sacrificing head articulation would be rather lame.

Plus, the MP has replicated that already, I can't blame Hasbro for playing it safe. And keeping a bit of the gimmick intact while maintaining head articulation like they did on this figure is the way to go I’d say.

I'm fine with the revised Brainmaster gimmick without the elevator. It's like the Headmaster stat reels not appearing in the Titans Return versions. I don't miss them and it gives me something unique to enjoy in my G1 versions.

Takara are the ones that engineered the figure, so if people want to complain about Hasbro "ruining the gimmick" they should direct their attention in Takara's direction instead

I have no doubt at all that this is going to surpass the 20k before the end of the pledge...

You'll see the bigger robot who uses the same neck joint, so if Saber has none Star Saber has none. I get the want for a more fully realized gimmick, don't get me wrong, but I think if they had a choice between more dynamic display piece or a bunch of little moving parts for a gimmick that locks up articulation, the neck joint was the better priority imo. I think they might've been able to get away with the elevator if they didn't go with the ab articulation he looks to have, which I'd concede possible won't be anyone's priority but it's still neat to me
