Mine is similar to @Omega23. I use tackle boxes for small parts. Raid chambers/storage pods and other bigger parts are in bins... I'm considering a second tackle box for Diamond Cyclone side... Just so many parts. Once Shadow version comes out, you may have better luck with folks selling their duplicates, especially if you are willing to get one without the trailer...
The only photo editing of that type I do is for my comic covers, but that is easier than actually trying to manipulate the photos as you are describing. I use a combo of free options, but adverts get really annoying at times. Add Watermark, Polish, and Polarr are the ones I use, but not sure about adding effects. Maybe look for someone posting on the other photo threads that are similar to what you want and ask them by PM if they are willing to share? Also, at one point, I think Hasbro had a free photo editor for special effects available as part of a Star Wars promo. Not sure if it is still around as I never tried it.
Dammit! I had three of this set right in front of me at A3U in Vancouver a month ago, and bought a Sky Jacket and Powered System E Type suit instead because I felt guilty for some recent PO cancellations. Hopefully mine shows up before Gigantor does, I got nada so far and I want to ship as soon as he hits. The Grander pod and DA-73 would be nice too.
Hey how are people’s Battle Convoy knees looking after a few months? This is the most degraded any of my Diaclone stuff has become (apart from user error breaks smh). Ultimately we’ve had a lot of fun and probably play with this guy the most but I would guess most of us collectors convince ourselves that we’re paying such a high price for these toys because they are so well made.
I haven't looked at mine's knee in a little while- but even it was chipped. I had a peg on my Waldros's (Gigatanor) leg that was slagged about of the box (factory error) but because I got it through Amazon.jp... I wasn't sure the best way to remedy it... so I just kept it (figured i'd loose my ass on shipping it back for a replacement).
Thanks! This is amazing but it looks like North America only. I'm sure someone would have knocked it off, so I'll keep an eye out. The crates stacking and locking together is perfect. This could easily be me taking my Diaclones somewhere, all safe and consolidated into one setup. Maybe my wife has kicked me out for irresponsible spending hahaha. Or in the event of a fire alarm, cat under one arm and a kid perched on top of the crates as I wheel my treasures to safety.
unfortunately common, even during the release. It made a buzz in JP twitter-space. I am being extra careful with anything involving the knees, so mine's still OK. Yes, DA-85 Power Greater interacting with the knee parts gave me some shudders now T_T
Correct. But I think it’s closer to never than almost never. Of a the times a store has restocked the production stamps were the same as the initial run. So it’s a one and done thing as far as I can see on any release so far. Zero reissues. Just some got more figures manufactured than were purchased by distributors a few times. And they get sold a second time at a high premium. I sort of like this way of releasing this high end line, but I also do feel bad for people who come into the line late.
They did reissue stinger and fling rather quickly after the initial run. Then we’ll before that, Diabattles got a reissue as a version 2 in da-11. That’s it. If anything gets reissued now, my money would be on battle convoy but again, the odds are super low.
Those restocks you've seen are generally either left over unsold stock, cancelled presales, or the extras that distributors and retailers/e-tailers hold back to cover replacements for lost and damaged goods. Also, some of the earlier and cheaper items appear to have been produced at much higher quantities, like first Powered Suits, so some of those are just now selling out in the US, making it appear they were reprinted, but they weren't. One could argue that DA-04 was reissued when alternate colors were released as DA-04-2 and DA-04-3, but based on early pictures on the web, I think they always intended to release all three packs and not really a reissue.
Yeah, that was all anyone was talking about right after they came out. Apparently, there was a bonding problem with the paint. I mainly play with the trailers, not the mechas, as that was my biggest draw to those, so mine so far look fine. I'm definitely planning to be careful with them when that armor set comes in, as I can't wait to build that combined land vehicle mode.
Yeesh that really sucks. Takara as a company seems to be pretty hit or miss with getting paint to stay on. Doesn't help that it's yellow paint on a really dark surface. Hopefully that v-shadow doesn't have the same problem.
I guess you could consider 11 a reissue from one perspective actually yeah! I think 11 sold extremely poorly. Not even a new paint job. Just slightly shinier paint in a few places, and some upgraded joints. I think they were hoping people would want a second Hero Colors Diabattles so they could have a V2 Battles and a Cosmo Battles in the same Display, and at that time the line wasn't as well established as it is now. The Flinger and Stang things are potentially correct too. I'm VERY curious to find out from someone who bought the reissues. I would love to know the dates on the boxes and if some Date Dials were put on the newer figures. That would be very interesting indeed.
