I really hope TM 2 Dragon Megatron comes with a “covenant of primus” so I can pose him reading it having lost his damn mind.

 

I dont see why they couldn't fit him in Leader, given how he transforms. I wouldn't want a Commander Gigatron that's out of scale with Fire Convoy either.

 

1 just becuase you can keep track of Leaker's usernames and reputations, don't expect everyone else to.

2 this thread is over 100 pages long, you can't reasonably expect everyone to read it all.

I mean, I’d want it to be done good, you know? And I feel to fit the amount of modes it has would need to be a commander class. But if they could fit it into a leader class and it had all modes intact and 100% good, I’d be good with that.

 

Yeah, no one was belittling you for asking a question. What myself and others pointed out was that we'd already been given reliable information on the subject. No went "haha you didn't already kmow that?!" when informing you that it was TM2 Megs. Which you then decided to ignore while bringing up another leak you were apparently fine with. That's literally the definition of cognitive dissonance.

You don't want to take leakers at their word? That's fine. Perfectly acceptable. I always advocate for a pinch of salt until we've got confirmation through listings or via Hasbro announcements. Don't keep up with the leakers and their reputations? Also great, but if that's the case you should probably throw out all the leaks until you get information on the subject via official channels.

Also, no one ever said you needed to keep up with this thread 100%, but you asked a question and got an answer and basically pulled a "who cares" when it didn't fit your personal wants. You also did this while trying to make a case for your preference by referencing a different leak and I wasn't the only person to point this out.

I didn't ignore anything, like I said don't expect everyone to know who leakers are or if they are reliable.

I never said "who cares" if that's the impression you got I apologize. But If you haven't noticed You're the only one blowing this out of proportion and trying to make this a bigger deal than it is. especially over 2 posts that originally only had 1 response.

 

He does have alot of modes, but most of them require very little or no additional tooling. I'm confident it can be done at leader, but if he really has to be commander to be good I'd still buy him.

 

I think it'd be more the level of engineering that might put him into Commander. Possibly overall parts count as well depending on how he's handled. Despite his alternate modes not adding a lot of additional parts the original was a pretty intricate design to begin with with a fairly high parts count and that level of design, parts, and engineering is more expensive in today's climate than it was back in 2000 when the original was designed. Now could it be done at Leader? Probably. Could it be done satisfactory? I don't know honestly. I'd personally be fine either way since outside of the dragon and jet modes the rest were kind of after thoughts and looked goofy.

 

i just wish we were able to get 1 commander more and that one was armada optimus prime, i dont know why they dont want to release him next year is armada 20 anniversary he was the 2 favorite leader on takara masterpiece poll, and he is one of the few designs that still is a block

 

Because the Wonderfest mold was too expensive for regular retail release. His trailer would be a lot more in depth and complicated than Rodimus's so he can't be a commander as is.

 

It's dead. It's time to let go.

 

I'm sure we'll get Armada Prime eventually, it just won't be THAT Armada Prime.

 

All it needs to make is pants, I think you can easily make a trailer that turns into legs when you have a $30 Optimus and $50 dedicated to a trailer. Rodimus just had a bunch of stuff to fill the price point.

 

And a command center on top of have articulated legs that turn into a working trailer with an Optimus that can combine it by splitting his legs in half rather than just transforming into a truck like PMOP.

 

I don't keep up with this thread that often but if that's the case, man that's sad.

 

Rodimus's trailer had nowhere near enough complexity to translate to a trailer that can transform into a pair of legs big enough for that cab. His trailer is massive and not really hollow

 

They haven't owned up to it, but there's no way it's getting made. I'm just calling it like I see it.

That's not to say an Armada Prime will never be made agian.

 

And he'll probably share Siege/ER/Laser Prime's legs
