I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't be happy about that. One of the few things Energon had going for it was the characters designs. Some of them are better than others, but for the most part, I like them. Plus, Inferno was one of the few characters to have an arc that was both interesting and given a decent (albeit tragic) conclusion (though I can't say I'm happy with the aftermath of said arc). I would absolutely buy a new and improved toy if Hasbro were to release one. I'd certainly feel sorry for the people who want a new Beast Wars Inferno, though. It's unfair that we got every single Maximal from Season 1 in Kingdom, but only four of the Predacons (five, if you count the turncoat Dinobot).

I'm still hoping for a Flamewar retool of Prime Arcee regardless.

 

Flamewar is a character I’ve been wanting a toy of for a long time. If Selects made an affordable Flamewar out of the upcoming TFP Arcee from Evolution, that’d be great. (The Antagony mentioned above would also be tempting if it happened.)

I also said several days ago I hope we get flamewar out of prime arcee and since we’re getting a new bliztwing I hope we get a overcharge. I miss last year where we got 15 GS figures.

I mean we are getting Laser Prime...and we know who his default repaint is. It makes sense to me that if We get a RiD Scourge the "Dragon" Megatron might be RiD as well.

I hope if we do get a RiD2001 Megatron it is commander class, as I feel that’s the only class where he could be done justice and include all of his modes. Unless of course they could fit all of that in a leader price point.

 

It’d have to be commander in this day and age. No way to do the character justice nowadays with anything less.

Sooo... you're accepting what the leakers have said about Laser Prime (His listing doesn't call him such. We only know it's him because Apollux told us.) and Wal-Mart Scourge, but the same leakers "could be wrong" about TM2 Megatron? Sounds like some heavy cognitive dissonance there.

I mean... I could understand if the different leakers were in disagreement but when you have different guys with different sources making the same claims. Also, to be clear I'm not advocating to not take leaks with a grain of salt, but many of these guys have great track records with their leaks at this point. If they're all on the same page I'd say that makes it very likely.

Same. I think in today's climate of how they're doing the line he'd have to be Commander. I'd buy one and keep his name Gigatron so I can throw him in my Decepticon shelf since that's how he was portrayed in the original IDW run.
