I miss when Pulse would regularly add things back in stock on Friday afternoons. Seems like its been awhile since they've done that, and I need Overbite and Tentakil  

 

Mirage has landed. Looks good, at first glance. I'll give him a good once over after I get back home.

 

They're so far behind on shipping things out, plus as another member pointed out a HUGE number of cargo ships are bottlenecked at the Port of Los Angeles waiting to dock and unload, more than 40 of them. So it's possible lots of their new product is just floating at sea.

 

I for one am fine waiting for my playthings if it keeps people safe. Honestly I don’t spend enough time enjoying the things I already have in hand.

Yeah, I got the shipping notice for Transmutate too, but nothing on Tracks or Scorponok. You'd think they'd try to consolidate more of this stuff.

 

The day Kingdom Red Alert dropped, I ordered one for myself as fast as possible, fearing they could sell out any second (I didn't know they had 2,000 in stock). 5 minutes later I agreed to get one for a local friend as well, and placed an order for a 2nd one. I contacted their CS team and asked if they could combine the orders to save themselves some shipping costs--they said that they could not do so under any circumstances and that I would receive 2 figures in 2 separate boxes.

It's the management's fault and this is how they want to do it. Not my problem and I'm not going to feel bad about ordering every item as a single purchase.

 

Yeah, I agree, it's on them.

I wonder if their system is just poorly designed. What they told you makes me suspect that.

Yes. It's a badly-designed system and website.

 

Honestly, after working in a shipping department before, it is generally more costly to combine orders from the effort than the savings from the reduced shipping fee. It takes a very robust system or a well designed warehousing system (like we are used to from BBTS, TFSource, TheChosenPrime, ect) to make combining orders an efficient action for the retailer. Small to medium retailers will do it more for customer good will and because they have flexibility in the work flow. Amazon used to combine orders, but rarely does so any longer. Despite being a niche medium sized retailer (the sort in which customer focused warehousing systems make sense), I would bet Hasbro Pulse models themselves after more mainstream style operations.

They really need a better UI for their order system. It is in the running for the worst among my hobbies.

 

My Grimlock and Mirage pack shipped out and was supposed to be delivered today, but now it says it's delivery is pending. Should I be worried?

 

Yes. When I need to find something in my order history, my best method has been to middle-click all 6 orders on each page of the order history so each one opens in a different tab, and then close tabs until I have found the ones I wanted to see. That's just ridiculous, and I weep for anyone having to screw with it on a phone or tablet.

 

I do an email search of the character to look up the order number then page through site until I find the number.

 

Starting to regret ordering the Kingdom two packs from Amazon seeing as how they're starting to get delivered to some of you very lucky folk

 

Funnily enough, I just read these last posts in this thread and five minutes later I get an email from Amazon that my two orders with the $15 off coupons from this past Tuesday and Wednesday are being delivered today and shipped together.

On topic, the Mirage/Grimlock pack came in yesterday in its own shipper packaging and within another box.

 

Wow really? Mine still says November 3rd for both!

 

Oh, I ordered the Mirage pack from Pulse and the Amazon orders are for LEGO sets.
