MP had it more accurate to the anime with thr elevator closing and the face separate from the BM, whereas this one (sans elevator) is closer to the toy with the face being on the little guy directly

Holi was a white police car in Victory and a black police car in Zone. The vintage toy and the modern figure are black. So it is cartoon accurate if we're talking about Zone. But I'm sure there are Victory fans who would like a Holi that resembles his Victory appearance.

 

They definitely seem less prepared then they were with Unicron. It’s wild the managed to get 50% funded in a week with an unpainted prototype (which looks great IMO).

 

Are you sure ? It seemed like Galactus hit the mark in only a couple of weeks. I dont collect super hero stuff but I get all the Hasbro Pulse emails. So if im mistaken and it hit the mark on the last hour, that makes these Haslab crowdfunds even more suspect. Cant they ever hit their mark just on cool factor alone ? Cant they ever hit the mark within a week because Hasbro picked something everyone would buy without hesitation ? Why does someone always swoop in the last couple of hours and save the day ? Thats super suspect. And dont talk about cookie monster. They probably knew they would get stuck with those things forever if they decided to save the day.

 

Was the last-minute surge not from other online stores putting in their preorders? I'd imagine a shit ton of people preferred spending a little extra at those places to not get charged until it actually ships.

 

It's also possible they listened to the complaints about changed colors on unicron and decided to just not color the prototypes this time

 

ha! Probably. mawgate would probably not be a thing. I can imagine the uproar if Star Saber was missing a minor yellow paint application.
