its a 2.0? wat is improved? i tot it was a reissue.

 

The paint color are slightly different. Example 2.0 chest is a more pale yellow compared to the original bright yellow. There's comparisons somewhere in this thread.

I definitely prefer the more vibrant greens and yellows on the original but the more muted colors will probably be a welcome change to the toon-as-much-as-possible constituency.

 

Pale is toon-accurate. Or at least, S3 accurate.

For real. I dont want to come off as anti-anybody, but if we could contain the spread of rw topics, it'd go a long way to helping me mask my sadness with the current state of things.

Also, very excited to see some in-hand comparrisons and reviews. Considering swapping my V1 out but wanna see how this stacks up first!

 

Can't wait! I went with FT when it originally came out, but the new color version looks fantastic, I prefer it to the original coloring. I really want to see more pictures of this guy  

 

Can't wait for Saltus as well. Pretty sure Apache is still gonna be my main Springer on display but i'm in for both him and Virtus, to boot. This alternate color scheme IMO hits Springer's usual color scheme PERFECTLY.

 

It’s your collection and your taste, but I got Apache last week and I can tell you Saltus is absolutely not being replaced in my main display by Apache. Even with the new toy shine, I unequivocally find that Saltus looks overall better in a display.

True. While I agree that Saltus hits a lot more boxes than Apache, for me personally IMO, Apache gets the things I focus on most when it comes to Springer's design right more than the others, those being the head and the chest vent.

 

I agree that the chest and vent looks much better on Apache. I think the arms look slightly better overall too, as does the abdomen. I would give everything else, especially the face and head (other than the eye color- Apache’s is awesome) to Saltus. Just my 2 cents.

 

I appreciate this post! Ha! I really didn't want to pre-order. Was really waiting for it to be available. Soon as I saw your post this morning, I went and made my order right away! Just got an email 10 mins ago stating it's already out for shipping! Woohoo!

 

Has anyone who ordered from ShowZ had theirs shipped yet? It says it's in stock since late last week (I think) but I still haven't gotten my shipment notice.
