I'm not sure my wallet could handle two MB-06 redecos so close together like that. Especially not when I'll already have to buy the inevitable orange MB-11 to complete this beautiful orange bastard.

Didn't FansHobby say they would be sold as a set? Or I guess they didn't say it would only be sold as a set. But is anyone intentionally buying just Godbomber??? I understand for the original set as he came after, but now everyone buying Godbomber would want the set... saves packaging and freight and all the mismatched disappointment of only being able to find one of the pair.

Also got me thinking of the other versions of PB and how Red GB might look on them.
A combo with the Thunderclash version might be interesting; ditto Black PB and possibly Machine Wars.

 

Hmmm. I like this deco a lot. I try to avoid repaints as much as humanly possible though. I don't see too much point in displaying the same mold twice (except for something like seekers... perhaps...)

Ugh. I'll probably consider it anyways based on final price and release date.

ShowZ just puts up preorder pages when their notified and provide pictures by anybody. I don't think they wait for official information, they just update the listing once they have it. There was a guy in another thread saying they sent ShowZ some pictures and that they put up a listing based on that. I think it was for CangToys's gorilla. So I figure they just put up separate listings since the pictures came out a set at a time.

 

Mine are already gone. They aren't sunburst colored and are therefore literally garbage. Undecided on of I'll do both again, but MB-06 is, at a minimum, getting that "MY EYES, WHY DID I LOOK DIRECTLY INTO THAT!?" upgrade.

 

I don't know, weren't all the previous flavors sold separately? As I remember the black GodBomber was the first to show up before the original flavor.
Anyway, does it matter? Pay to play is always the end game.

 

I've just jumped out of a chat with FansHobby on Messenger @Omega23 . Discussion was solely on whether Fireguts MB-06D and MB-11D are sold separately or in the one boxed set - as they've told me on several previous occasions. I also pointed them straight to the 2 seperate preorder listings ShowZ have for them individually too. They're sticking to their story; quote "MB-11D & MB-06D are sold in a set".

So we'll just have to wait and see. I was unable to get a response for how many days remain before they post a preorder on their website's store section.

 

It's not unusual for Showzstore to jump the gun and get preorders up before they really should. Thanks for this!

 

Have to lock in those preorders before the "got to lock it in now" folks realize they can wait and buy it elsewhere a little later.

 

It works for me. They're generally pretty conservative in how many of their "fake" pre-orders they make available so they don't overbook and it means I can put in an order and not worry whether I'll be able to find one later. And since I'm only on the hook for a couple bucks, I don't worry that I might lose out on the money or won't be able to move my pre-order to another site if I want. The deposit is refundable until the figure releases - they'll give it you in points but you can message then and ask for an actual refund of you prefer. I order enough from them that I don't mind getting my refunds in points.

 

One pre-order up on Amazon.jp for the Fire Guts version, however be forewarned that other pre-orders will be up. Do your due diligence folks.
