Part of me wonders why they can't just ship it, given the paid postage - but that makes returns/guarantees/tax tricky.

So I checked Hasbro Pulse and noticed the date has been changed from October to Spring 2022. I am sure this is due to the pandemic and shipping containers but I do hope when it's finished, they update the gun sounds so it's the same as the cartoon. Megatron and Optimus prime had the best weapons sounds in my opinion. My biggest concern is with the battery. Batteries don't last forever and I did send a note to the Robosen asking if there is a way to easily replace them but I haven't heard anything official or seen any kits.

 

My PO (made on 4/9/21) is still showing 10/31/2021 as an approximate shipping date.


I personally do not think it's going to be shipped by then but I'll be happy to be proven wrong.

Now I'm back to being hyped ordering one if that's how easy it will be to customize movements (and make your own dances).

That part made me laugh even more! Now I'm getting even more hyped for this thing and glad I didn't cancel my pre-order.

 

I was checking facebook and it mentioned it was being shipped soon. I am hoping that is the case and not another delay (Hasbro Pulse said Spring but now it doesn't have a date listed (Estimated ship date subject to change, items may ship earlier or later than anticipated without notice). I just hope there is a way to change out the batteries down the road and it would be cool if we could add a few voices or sound effects (can always dream).

 

It won't be taking AA batteries, but you can change out the battery pack - you just need a screwdriver, a source for a replacement pack and basic skills. I doubt the battery will be hardwired in. Even if it is, cutting/splicing a couple wires is not a huge deal.

Adding sounds might be on the menu with software updates, who knows. There might even be custom software to run it that opens up more options, if someone hacks it.

 

Are taking bets yet that this will not ship until next year (2022)? I pre-ordered when it was announced but I have the sinking feeling I won't get to play with this until next year.

 

You can add music and actions yourself, and there are instructional videos on youtube.

 

I think you will receive it at Christmas this year.

 

Did anyone of you got an invoice from Robosen?
