Is no one going to mention how these “leaks” are just a carbon copy of the basic plot elements of Kingdom on Netflix?

 

I didn't post anything about the Paramount logo or Beast Wars prelude, it had to be another member, but all the BW time travel/Bayformers Unicron/Scourge stuff, that was me from a couple days ago (not to say that others haven't had similar ideas, I don't know).

To play Devil's Advocate for a moment, if Hasbro/eOne are more involved this time then I could see them trying to sync the movies better with the cartoons, so a Kingdom-esque plot isn't out of the question (not that there's much indication of it besides the "G1"/BW crossover concept).

 

Well, I must admit that my expectations for this film are greatly reduced ...

I mean, this movie has a script as fucked up as The Last Knight, I'm pretty sure it will mark the end of live action transformers ...

 

So the leak says it’s the dofp of transformers, or the spider verse of transformers?

To be fair to your first point bumblebee could have made a 10000 year journey to earth. Just becos it happens in the next scene doesn’t mean he took a 10 min trip to meet John Cena

There was a guy who claimed to have leaked the plot of Godzilla vs. Kong on 4chan... and got almost every single thing wrong (he got Rebecca Hall and Ezia Gonzalez's characters the wrong way round and was totally wrong on Lance Reddick's role, he said Skull Island would be playing a big part when it didn't...) . So... yeah, I wouldn't trust 4chan "leaks" one bit.

Besides, I sincerely doubt that this is true, for the reasons you state. The DOFP stuff mentioned also sounds awfully reminiscent of the War for Cybertron: Kingdom cartoon - this reads like somebody who watched Kingdom on Netflix and ripped the summary off that, with a few alterations.

I also think the mention of Terminator 2 implying that time travel will be involved is a red herring - Mr. Caple Jr likely cited it because it's a 90's action flick, which he's cited ROTB as taking a lot of inspiration from. Certainly, the Maximals' "steampunk" designs seem to imply that they're going down the "prehistoric Cybertronian" route with them.

 

Also , one other thing that might prove that the leak is real , remember how everyone said that Scourge in the concept art looks the most Bayverse-ish and so on? Well according to this leak Scourge is TLK prime...which makes perfectly sense with this description.

 

But this person could just be connecting the dots based on our speculation. Admittedly I think this "leak" would be a great path moving forward, but what evidence do we have of this being legit?

You have sources? Can you point to any verification in the past demonstrating your credibility. Don't get me wrong my friend, I trust, but I would like to verify.
