Just got my cheap Stomp in at ShowZ, appreciate the heads up from you all!

 

A "Prontosaurus". That's what they called him.

 

CRAP! Just when I place my order with someone else, ShowZ goes up... 50$ in shipping out the window...  

Serves me right for not being patient enough.

 

Just ordered one from ShowZ and canceled at BBTS, can't beat that price at the Z !

ShowZ is now sold out, so I guess my complaints about the price difference are a moot point now. Why do I suspect scalpers are to blame in this instance? I'm not sure if ShowZ has ever had a 1 per customer restriction.

 

Be patient, they’ll find more in the warehouse. ShowZ tends to be conservative until they actually receive product.

 

Of course I missed out on ShowZ, I fear my dinotbots will never be complete.

 

I have my copy on the way from TFs-Express. So it doesn't really affect me at all. I was just being salty because I wound up paying $200 + $58 for shipping through TFs-Express. However, I recently received an order in just 15 days from ShowZ with free shipping, so $58 for anything more than 7 day shipping through TFs-Express will be... annoying to say the least.

 

ShowZ has theirs listed again.

 

Got mine paid for from Terry awhile back and just waiting for him to get his shipments in. Hopefully he gives a $30 coupon refund as he did with Soar.

Didn't realize he did that with Soar. I got Soar from ShowZ and they did that, then pre-ordered stomp from Terry at $260 and was disappointed that ShowZ had it at $229. It would be nice if he compensated us that price!

 

OMG, happy tears, refreshed the page and showz had it back to order for a great price. My dinobots will finally be complete.

 

TF direct has it for $230 w free shipping also,. However, after I paid for it, they sent me an email asking for extra $30 due to it being over 2.5kg. Talk about bait n switch. I'm trying to cancel my order with now.

Also been trying to cancel my paid pre-order w Terry, but he hasn't responded to my request via email and FB message. Is there another way to reach out or should I open an PayPal dispute?

 

Wow, my Stomp arrived from TFS Express already! That came even faster than my Soar from Showz did.




It's weird finally owning non-Grimlock dinobots. Growing up, the other dinobots always felt sort of like luxuries that I couldn't afford. Having a complete set of dinobots? Pfft, I was lucky to just get Grimlock. My childhood was full of incomplete sets, mostly random hand-me-downs from my older cousin...one seeker, two constructicons, two combaticons, one headmaster...I think the first time I owned a full set of anything was during BW when my grandfather bought me the Magnaboss combiner (and he only bought me the full set because it was a bundle and I begged him for it, sadly now that set has GPS, but I digress).


Anyway, all I can say now is....Fanstoys, hurry your fucking ass up with rereleasing the rest of the dinobots (sorry, getting a bit too impatient all of a sudden).

 

Same here, a year ago, these guys, let alone other FT pieces felt like a fucking dream to have. Hell, i'm still kinda in disbelief every time I look at shit like Hoodlum, Soar and Quietus that I managed to get them, hahaha.

 

Yeah, and Stomp in particular has a sort of special aura about him because the entire time I've been collecting MP he's been this super rare $800-$900 figure on ebay. I hope his price never goes that high again, honestly, that's just too crazy.
