Finally gotten around finishing Magnus' bumper. Airbrush broke down, so I had to buy a new one. In with the expensive and awesome Iwata, out with the el cheapo Chinese Amazon airbrush.

I've used a super matt varnish, it looks cool and goes well with the nylon, but I'm still having doubts if I should use a glossy varnish... What do you guys think?
Btw the little mid section is metallic silver, but it doesn't look like it because of the lighting.

 

Metallic Prime ms-b18x+ is piloting the Magnus armor. Going to keep it that way, cuz the colors match the armor very nicely.
Extra bonus, his joints are much tighter, because of the metallic paint. No trouble at all holding up his Cybertronian cannon  

 

I’d just be worried about paint chipping on the lower arms because of the tight arm sheaths.

 

As was I, so I checked it by refitting those exact pieces a couple of times and the paint was unscathed. Besides, he's not going to leave the armor in the nearby future

Off-topic: I'm far away from the big city, for the first time in my life I'm living at the mountains as always I wanted...  
Now my "soul" is fulfilled with lots of hobbies, the figures are my last priority right now. I waste my time in the nature.  

I always thought that I buy figures obsessively because of the deep "hole" that I had in my heart. I needed to fill that hole with figures of my childhood (the happiest stage of our lifes) but never is sufficient, you know. Now my hole is full by the things that I really need.

I will collect more figures, that's a part of me, but now I have other priorities.  

 

lol and here I thought I was collecting legends just because it’s fun.

Truck mode still works after all the damage I did. If I ever planned on using truck mode again, I'd add some damage to the other parts but I think he's gonna live in bot mode forever from now on.

And combined mode again. I definitely need to dirty up his gun.

That's a tough call. I think overall, MS looks significantly better. But while partsforming doesn't bother me, I cannot abide by the partsforming: level extreme.

 

I am curious if the UM parts can be used on the their OP 2.0. If yes, I will probably get it.

 

In my case the parts fall over and over and the arms can't hold the weight of the gun... I can't play with him without something popping out.  

I put him in sale... 10 minutes... Already sold. Let's gonna see if I won't regret it.
