So it seems like sellers are being pro-active against requests for aftersale service this time.


Apparently the only way to get any sort of aftersale service on a Takara figure is if you got one of the original pre-orders from Amazon Japan, but the window for that closed a long, long time ago.

 

The tailwing crack on MP52 doesn't really cause any issues, I have it and mine's great. But if you have the crack on the ankles, that's where you need a replacement or some in depth fixing cause it makes the feet super loose and hard to stand.

Can anyone who has the new version of this guy let me know if there’s any indication that it’s the new version on the box?
I just received mine from Baba, but I’ve not opened it yet, as the box is the original. Has 2017 all over it and lists only one extra face on the back.

 

I've the first version of Stratotanker has the soldier pose with very near legs because those ankles,until now because his back is against wall ,it doesn't fall and is stable do you fear that ankles would break if remains always in bot mode and still suffer a lot with pose I've chosen?I like figure for face and body proportions but a Stratotanker seems very funny to transform in all modes without fear and with much stronger legs.

 

I'm not sure there is any way to verify or not. Mine from BBTS has 2017 all over the box as well. This is mine, which was the metallic version with extra faces.

 

2017 on my box as well. Reissue metallic. Not seeing much metallic about it though in hand. I assume the regular version is just more bare paint or something? It looks like the shield lacks the colors on it in the regular version. That's the most apparent difference in the photos I've seen of the regular version.

I really love this figure and while I do see the flaws that other have talked about they really don't bother me at all.

My ankles are tight and do their job without issue.
I also really like all 3 modes, they my not be perfect but look darn good to me

 

I ordered mine from tfs and finally got him the other day. Haven’t unboxed yet but excited for him
