A shame it's so blocky. A touch more stylized and it'd be a perfect piece with Iron Trans Star Blade. The height of it is basically perfect.

PX version is more CHUG size and like... It's not a bad toy, just not MP scale enough.
For example, you can't put PX Deathsaurus with MP24 Star Saber side-by-side.

 

Something about the proportions is kinda bugging me [like the legs are too short/thighs too long] but yeh. Looks cool! MP sized Deszaras is a win

I picked up two of those with the G1 kits. They ARE top notch and aren't going anywhere. But I'm picking up one of these. XTB are no joke.

 

I hope he comes with his giant gun and mace as well as the pictured sword and shield. I would be surprised if he didn't.

 

The only thing that looks off is the flying lion's head. Otherwise looks great!

 

Planet X is too small, and so is MMC version's, they can go jump in the river. This is the only MP version.

If Fans Hobby were to do Deathsaurus, then I would pick theirs, otherwise XTransbots/KFC will happily get a lot of business for this figure from me and others. There is probably more interest in this version than the MMC/Planet X versions based on size and G1 cartoon accuracy alone.

I hope Fans Hobby makes the Sparkabots and Firecons. They have been great making the Masterforce figures. Flamefeather would be part of that.

This is Deathsaurus from Victory, who is way bigger than Flamefeather, and is the leader of the Decepticons.

Masterforce had a lot of 1988 G1 US toys on screen that never made it to the screen in the US with a few new Japanese only characters.

Victory only had a few 1989 G1 US micromasters, Monstructor remade into the Dinoforce, and upgraded Powermaster Optimus Prime from Masterforce with his Japan only second Trailer combined with him. Everything else in Victory was new Japanese characters not sold in the US.

I liked how a lot of the G1 US toys from 1987-1989 actually had a cartoon in Japan to give the toys I had as a kid a story and personality.
