That’s a very fair choice. GP kills it. I agree. I’d would go as far as to say Wilson is a good candidate, The TT KO is pretty damn good

Cesium completely sold out, he can be found on eBay for astronomical prices. Many fans think that he looks way better with the other 4 and that Scoria is off. - So that's not a very good example. Sorry.

The FT dinibots' toon accuracy is a sliding scale starting with Scoria and ending with Cesium. If Cesium doesn't fit because he's more accurate than the figures before him then the same applies to every figure as they progressively get toonier (with the exception of Sever and Stomp being about equal). Heck you could even consider MP-08 as the start of the sliding scale as Scoria was designed to accompany him and even came with special booties, Grinder then replaced MP-08 in the FT lineup and was far more toon accurate than both MP-08 and Scoria, so Cesium was made so that the sliding scale wouldn't start so far back.

 

The sliding scale happens to most of us as time goes on. When I was younger, I had more panel lines, facets and details. As the years progress, I’ve become much more “toon-accurate” with wide smooth surfaces that change shape with every movement and from scene to scene.

 

I assure you, as time goes on, you become anything BUT more smooth.

Although I will allow that your shape changes, that's for sure.

 

I am about to get Spindrift in a matter of days and was wondering where/how to put the autobot insignia in alt mode, in order to go for this look:

How did you do it?

I have the feeling that applying it in the red area (and splitting it with a cutter) should be "rear enough" to make it visible in alt mode and not visible in robot mode

 

Well, i will see that myself in a couple of days, but one has to kill some time while waiting, hasn't he?  

 

I noticed that @OptimusTimelord put a rubsign on his. I'm sure it is not visible in bot mode, but perhaps he can come and share some insight while you wait?

I got mine a few weeks ago and didn't really think about putting a symbol there.

Personally I just don't worry about vehicle mode insignias.

 

Yeah it's just a G1 rubsign cut in half. IIRC I had to shave a bit off the edges too so that it fitted into that recessed area on the alt mode. I don't normally put rubsigns on these things, but something about the silver and black was a nice G1-toy-vibe touch in alt mode whilst also subtle enough for bot mode (where you can just see it on his ankles).
