Ontop of it being obvious to me it is made from translucent plastic, the amount of skill and work it would take to make it look as good as it does would take that of a professional, and unless it’s from an obscure guy who did it on commission, it wouldn’t be photographed as such.



Ontop of that, we have had listings for this for months, and leakers have said that a “Reformatting Megatron” has been coming up as a convention exclusive for months as well.

Galvatron was listed as “Unicron Galvatron”, and there were several other figures who had yet to be revealed that were also on the list, such as the Ark, Tigatron, and the Ranger & Puffer 2 pack, of which Puffer was also recently leaked.

Don’t. I’m legally colorblind(almost completely) and I can tell it’s transparent plastic.

If this is legit, I fully expect it to be sold at the Commander price point, becuase......Hasbro.

Well the GF is interested in the figure but not the Unicron DLC and I'm interested in the Unicron DLC but not the figure, so it looks like we're splitting a set  

 

What's ironic is that she loves the a team haha

 

I'm in for any and all Galvatrons. The mini ships & figs are a neat bonus to add to my Unicron and Ark.

 

This has always confused me. Are you somehow less surprised when something is revealed via a leak than you are when it is shown via a reveal? It seems as if the level of surprise should be a constant.

 

how can i be excited for a toy unless it's a Hasbro Fan First Friday featuring random hasbro employee #54 futzing around with it for 10 minutes while preorders sold out 3 years ago?

 

Three Galvatron paint schemes in one round. Damn, somebody up there is a fan. I’ll get one of each just to contribute.

On a tangent, this just give me one more percent of hope that fake Goldimus Primus (aka Primacron) is on the cards. Cmon Takara/Hasbro you did the “premium” paint scheme now let’s go back to the gold version. Just saying…  

 

Man, I really want to get the set for the mini figs. My ark unfortunately came without a little prime and now I have a chance to fill those empty slots. Shame I don't really want another Galvatron.

My sentinents exactly. It’s dope that they’re doing this, and the panel lining looks pretty outstanding for a factory job, but clear plastic has a history of being unpredictable in terms of durability, and one brief three-second shot in a movie is a little too niche for me to justify picking up the same figure as the same character thrice.

 

Have held back on Galvatron specifically to see how he would be brought into the 86 SS line. I think Coronation was a good move to bring Starscream in. I’d be curious to see if they intend to rerelease Cyclonus, Rodimus Prime, and others in the 86 line.

My guess is that the mini figs are actually “in-scale” with a smaller Unicron that will come with the Galvatron/Unicron $110 set.

 

The $110 is not in US dollars, the Sideswipe/Maximal Skywarp set is show at over $70. Plus the mini figures are the same size as the two that came with Haslab Unicron. I also wouldn't hold out for Galvatron in Studio Series. The SS 86 figures are holdover from the third part of WFC that evolved into Kingdom.

 

I keep hearing about this galvatron unicron set. What is it exactly. I can't seem to find anything on it. If it's a half decent galvatron I'm in for sure and a mini unicron can't hurt either. I just can't seem to find much about it
