Hahaha, I had to come look what you are talking about since you pinged me. Those jets are really cool and remind me of those toys growing up where they made neat random jets or vehicles then they combined to form a really lanky ugly robot but it was cool because it was a robot. I'm going to pass since my house is already beginning to look like a warehouse like Slave IV's house with Lego boxes and the incoming waves of pre-orders. Plus I have to keep space available for any future Macross stuff right?
Yep... Incoming Heavy Armored Up Hikky and Nora (and two 1/6th figures for me). Just realized that there's no antenna for Pink Mantis or it is still in the young stages? Maybe it was easy to be lost on Reaper and Pulse (the GIT version) ??
Beast Wars Megatron Yyyeeeeeeesssssssss These are looking pretty neat. I skipped the previous two AMTS, but these really speak to me. The jet modes remind me of Energon Superion's jet modes.
For those of you with Ricochet the kangaroo, can you fit his blue boxing gloves inside his box mode? Seems like they can, but I don't want to force anything without some knowledge. Thanks!

Hmm, just transformed Ricochet back to critter mode. I reeeeaaalllyyy want to fit those boxing gloves into the box mode. Looks like there's not enough room, but man it's so close

looking forward to getting NightCrawler. i can't stop stressing my feeling of how i wish 52toys would select better colour pallettes. the colours alone in this case makes a huge difference in having NightCrawler look so much more impression compared to it's predecessor DemonDart.
I know this is old news, but I'm slowly trying to catch up on Beastboxes after getting a couple early summer and being super-impressed, and MAN, Iceqube is SWEET. Was not expecting them to magnetize together fairly strongly, also did not pick up that they have a little gear underneath each of their heads that allows them to change their expressions. Plus even the box mode makes sense in that that's how penguins huddle together for warmth. Favorite Beastbox yet (granted I only have 7 so far, with another 6 incoming).
I mean... this is very much a matter of preference. I think Nightcrawler's colors look incredibly boring, and have 0 interest in it; meanwhile, I think Demon Dart's colors look amazing, and am really looking forward to getting him in hand if BBTS ever gets their shipment in.
I think both look great, and complement each other. One has a brighter coloring of red and gold, allowing it to shine, whereas the other has a dark blue and silver, making them a match, especially with gold and silver being their secondary color
yes, true that it's subjective. i just find more recent colouring on releases a lot more busy and somewhat garish at times compared to prior earlier releases which i was attracted to. i'd have to disagree with calling NightCrawler "boring", but definitely more subtle and i feel more cohesive compared to DemonDart.
