I'm a fan of police/fire/rescue alt modes and I love the MP Datsun mold, so last year I had ideas about buying a KO MP Prowl to paint up in a deco similar Red Alert's. (Because that's the stupid thing you do when you've bought all of the Datsuns.) Anyway, this was my digibash blueprint. I think I was going to name him "Rappel" and like a complete nerd I typed up a bio and tech specs for him (somewhere... can't find it). Maybe my next project?
I've created enough to reboot a new small franchise. I'll just share a few for now. All of these are made by a decepticon splinter faction, the striketicons. PESSIMUS PRIME: a optimus from an alternate timeline where Orion pax was accidentally cloned by a deception generator and made into his own false prime. Looks like if optimus prime had DOTM meg's color scheme, but the silver is rusty gold. Logging truck alternate mode, and forms upper chest of a combiner. LIFTOFF: an artificial seeker created by an alien army for space exploration. black with orange highlights Space rocket alternate mode, forms right arm of a combiner. WIRES: a brilliant scientist with a taste for electromagnets. Like wheeljack, but white is black, highlights are red, and the chest is a a roofless tinted window. Shares alt mode with wheeljack, but again with roofless window. Forms right arm of combiner. BARRELER: failed construction recruit, replaced by long haul and mixmaster. Great chemical engineer but is overly cautious. Has a big oil barrel in chest, with tie bungees wrapped around the legs. Oil/cleaning truck alt mode, forms underpants of combiner. No, I'm not kidding, that's how I drew him in combined mode. FLIPTRAP: insane time traveling expert with a swedish gollum accent. Purple and black, chest window and crotch window in robot mode. Turns into a street car. Forms left leg of combiner. SEASTEAK: he was close brothers with seaspray, until a chemical "accident" left him under decepticon repair, parting his friend forevermore. Jet ski alternate mode( yes, he does mass shift) and blue and white color scheme. Forms left leg of D-STROY-R. that was a LOT. I've got more in the works, hope you enjoy!

I really like the name Pessimus Prime. The individual characters seem cool but I can't find a unifying theme. What is the team called?
The theme is kind of that they are all outcasts and clones. Except for FLIPTRAP who may or may not have made all of the events that made them happen. They are called the striketicons. Name doesn't fit, but who cares? Just adds to their unbalance.
I have three new ones, Lobsticus, Rangechange, and Cardiac. These are not part of the striketicons. CARDIAC: emergency autobot medic on earth who specializes in energon shortages. Turns into a white and blue medical sports car. The roof becomes a shield and the front wheels become an eguivalent of a...whatever the thing that restarts hearts is called. Crashed on earth with rachet and red alert, at which point they decided to help all humans and bots. Yes, he probably be a replacement for red alert when defensor forms. RANGECHANGE: decepticon with 20 ( yes I'm listing all of them) modes. Works for hire from the decepticon king, who I will name later. After noticing the transforming capabilities of sixshot, he took amalgomus prime's blessing from him and used it for ultimate evil. Looks like sixshot with impactors paint job. Modes: motorbike, motorboat, sports car, tank, handgun, Gatling gun, sword, jet fighter, skinny ninja robot with giant swords, beefy boxing robot with giant fists, helicopter, wolf, bat, spider, turret, engine, armor for any of the seekers, space train, and gerwalky thingamadoo. LOBSTICUS: autobot king of the seas, with crab and lobster alternate modes. Both must be present for robot mode. He looks like scorponok with utra magnus cop glasses. He is not a headmaster. Goldbug is just big enough to ride his lobster mode. Hid on earth as an undersea arena for thousands of years before being discovers by the autobots.
Even more! Cons and bots alike, and some female characters! MACHSTICK: female decepticon pyrotechnist. She is constantly burning which causes her to be in infinite pain. She's harnessed the pain to powerful weaponry. Flying car alternate mode, orange, red, and white colors. GEMSTONE: a bounty hunter who frequently collaborates with Rangechange. Her golden body makes her untouchable to electrical blasts. She is also great friends with Machstick. She converts to a cybertronian fighter jet. She can combine with Machstick to make Goldburner. (If you can think of a better name please share it.) SWINGSTER, GRAMMO and BIGBAND: part of the crew the Groovesters, which includes Blaster and Jazz. they were triplets who are the exact opposite of reflector. They are all sepia toned. Swingster turns into an old limo, Grammo turns into a gramophone, (Disc robots will come later) and Bigband turns into a biplane.
I only have a few OCs in my ginormous fanfic Voice of Stanix that I can't link to here (it's on Archive of Our Own), but I'll start with everyone's favourite one: Silverwing of Rash Action, a juvenile Seeker, best friend of Viridian (formerly known as Blackcat). all avatars made using the wardrobe at new.subeta.net She turns into a Bede BD-5. Which is white and silver with black accents, but I am not great at drawing aircraft. Her primary jobs are to be adorable and assist Viridian in getting into all sorts of things on Sanctuary Station that neither one of them has any business knowing about. (Can't link to fic here because there are some m/m and f/f relationships and the adult characters get up to some spicy things occasionally.)

(The white motorcycle protectobot) Grammo's vinyl-bots, BASS, WOODWIND, STRINGS, AND BRASS: named after the core instrument families. Bass turns into a grey and brown robot with with tambourine palms as weapons.faceplate with regular eyes. Woodwind is silver like Bass, but converts to a... Pigeon? She has little flute guns on her shoulders. Strings is maroon and black, with a leopard alternate mode. She has string claws as a means of attack. Brass is gold and yellow, with a regular robot mode. Magnus glasses and no faceplate, uses a horn weapon in his feet to cause quakes. If you've been reading this, then you might be wondering about the decepticon king, and maybe some human characters. Well boy do I have some humans! And an evil ( but politically efficient ) king! Vincent: sophomore at the Cyrus academy for modern education. Met Bumblebee after Shockwave and Flashblast coordinated an attack on the town of cahnland. Elli: close (girl)friend of Vincent. They are both to shy to admit they like each other but Vince and Elli are both interested in ironhide's studies. She is a pacifist to the end. Garry: kid who really likes the striketicons, despite them absolutely LOATHING him. He is constantly interfering with their plans, and Pessimus likely would've killed him by now if he wasn't violating orders. Sky shadow is the decepticon king, who took the throne by force. Deathsaurus is his advisor and mentor, and blue bachus his first knight. He also has a tank alt mode now too, and wears a whole lot of gold. My OC is Firelight, sister of Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime. Yeah, I know her name was similar to Fireflight, but she wasn't an aerialbot or has connection to it. I can't draw her because I really bad on drawing things, but she definitely was a future and fast car like her brother but her colors mostly white, red, and orange. My inspiration for Firelight mostly from Findis and Lalwen (The Silmarillion), but her personality and charm really same as Eärwen (The Silmarillion). For her most likely story:

Name: The Weapon (Refers to himself in the third person and sometimes even forgets he is a person) Body-type/Gender: Effeminate male (Can be confused for a female until he talks) Height/Weight: 33 feet tall and 18 tons. Sexuality: Objectophilia (Falls in love with every new weapon he sees, including living ones) Faction: Decepticon Function: Weapons expert and inventor, arms dealer/collector Alt-mode: Laser Gun-Battle Axe (Can levitate or be held by another Con) Motto: "The better weapon always wins." Personality: Not much is known about the Weapon's past other than he's altered his body to be a living weapon and is obsessed with collecting the best types of weapons; from swords, guns, explosives, to even living ones like himself either by buying or stealing them.
Dang, looking back through my notes over the years I realize I've got something like 75 OCs (plus reinventions of a small handful of canon characters). Welp. Relay Jangle Next: Fusion NAME: Fusion ALLEGIANCE: Decepticon FUNCTION: Demolitions MOTTO: "Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide." Profile: A one-robot wrecking ball dragooned from the fight pits of Polyhex. Festooned with weaponry of dubious origin and reliability, substandard tracking circuits make him more effective against buildings. Prefers one-on-one combat. Urban tank mode maneuvers on four motospheres, uses plasma turrets, fireball projectors, and demolition missiles, ramming wedge. Gravcopter mode has dark undercoloring for night operations, flies at Mach 0.7. As robot, wields plasma autopistols. Rarely speaks, prefers gestures and flickering his blank faceplate. Gun nut - scavenges and tinkers with military junk. Tends to pop fireball projectors in and out of his arms when distracted or thinking. One of six members of Whipcrack's heavy assault group. Abilities: Durable and heavily armed, Fusion is often used for military demolition of an area to ensure there is no infrastructure or concealment for enemy troops or installations. Solid hand-to-hand fighter, although better one-on-one than with team tactics. Weaknesses: Slow-moving, easily distracted by new kinds of weaponry. Eschews tank mode - motospheres are easily damaged by large potholes. Fireball projectors are prone to napalm leaks. Weaponry tends to be attached without regard for sightlines, requiring one set to be retracted before another can safely fire. Has been known to disregard safety interlocks and blow off his own plasma turrets on occasion. Creator's Notes: - The faceplate was actually designed before TF: Prime (and its incarnation of Soundwave) existed. I guess the stoic blank-face thing is something of an archetype. - The 3D design is admittedly very crude and with the autopistols being extremely blocky and his fists only being cylinders, I realize belatedly that it looks like he's going to shoot you with the coffee maker and then pour himself a cup, like a big ol' grouch. - Fusion started out as a variation on the G1 Springer toy and his cartoon model (the shoulders, mostly). - The black underside (and the lighter-colored topside, in gravcopter mode) came from G1 Cybertron not having a sun. If you looked up you'd see black. If you looked down on the surface from orbit, you'd see silver-gray. Fusion's coloration is therefore somewhat protective camouflage, like a reverse penguin. It's a nice side effect that it turned out looking like armor plating over a black bodysuit in robot mode.
No particular reason I can remember, but it has been around 20 years since I originally came up with it. The first lines I wrote for him were deliberately cribbed off William Gibson, and read "He'd had the thermite cannons fitted in Vilnacron, practised clumsily against holotargets in the eternal twilight and thought of suicide. Cheap, overpriced units, and he'd paid because it wouldn't do to appear too smart. Later, of course, he'd stripped out the mechanisms and carefully slagged them. The casings, he kept."
I just like that, based on the combined descriptions, the resulting combiner would have two right arms and two left legs.
