I prefer my goatee on Cyclonus, but I'd pay good money for that 'toon one.

    Do you take commissions?

I’d love all those heads, properly painted, & the GS Galvy painted to match…

With that head I might even try to get Galvatron and try to remove the tampographs. Although I still would prefer a different shade of purple. If we can't get the more blueish purple, I prefer the lavender Takara used in the past. Even though that's probably less accurate, I still like it more.

Message received loud and clear :D  looks like there's some demand for me to put these out there.
First of all, thanks for having a look as well as giving your feedback. It's always positive to see something you've put hard hours into get recognition.

A couple of things to make sure we're all on the same page:
    • These are resin prints with paint apps.
    • I live in Australia and most of you don't.

To get these out there we can go one of two ways and I'd like to know your thoughts on the matter:
    1. I print and post worldwide, this is more expensive and takes longer. There are also risks of loss or damage in transit.
    2. I make the files available for people with resin printers. This doesn't favour those without printers or access to Shapeways etc, but it allows for greater personalisation (Royal Blue, no Goatee, etc) and the use of local customisers, if needed.

Any clear preference here? I know some have resin printers, but probably not many. There are pros and cons each way.

    Details worth considering:
    • I've looked into postage and currently AUD$17 (around USD$12.50) is the cheapest price for economy air, even for a small parcel the size of a head. That might be enough to turn some people off in itself.
    • The selects release is months away. Until then, I'm just guessing the colour of the plastic used on the toy.
    • I'm still awaiting M1.4 6mm screws, so heads are still in the testing phase (the faces are currently held by friction).
    • The purple on the fourth head consists of violet and magenta applied by airbrush. While I can seal it, I can't guarantee it won't chip at all.
    • This is my hobby, so I'm not looking for profit. At the same time I'm not wanting to take a loss (other than development) or over extend myself in my free time. I'm sure you understand.

No, you're much better off finding someone closer to home for a full body paint. There are plenty of talented people here and besides, the heads themselves are ridiculously easy to paint with the removable face-plate..

Yep, coming soon. A tight fit with some tip rub on the purple currently, but I'll sort that with the next test print.

    I sometimes have to pay like 20 to 40 bucks for shipping from the US to my place, which sucks, but makes AUD$17 look really nice. Btw. I'm in Europe. I can't paint myself. I bought a great Hordak head off Shapeways and thought it would be simple, as there's not much different colors and the head totally looks ugly after I tried to paint it. So pre-painted would be the only option for me ^^;

Maybe you can make these "made to order" and see how many people here want one? :D

100% worth $12.50 shipping to the states. The real question is what would you need to charge to see an acceptable profit, or not end up with a million orders you don't feel like handling? I imagine that's where the make or break will be for most people. I for one would be happy with an unpainted version.

$12.50 shipping is worth it. Interested in hearing individual prices (looking for the cartoon styled head). Keep up the amazing work!

Please let me know if you go the rout of sharing the files for the printers, I would love to give it a go. Also GO TEAM AUSTRALIA! My wife and her family are Aussies, her cousin Stacey just represented Australia in the Olympics for Softball

I'm also tentatively onboard for shipping AUS/USA (boy that's almost symmetrical) once Selects Galvatron is out, because I really really want a UK Galvatron to fuck shit up for Ultra Magnus.

All of them look fantastic. My favorite is the screaming battle damaged Marvel Galvatron. Detail and paintwork there is incredible.

Would you consider releasing the file for those of us with a resin printer available?
