Yeah, I was showing my wife and she didn't spot the messy eyeliner until he had light in front of him. It's not bad in person. But the black dark AF

I'll weigh in here and say mine is perfect (to my less than perfect eyes). Guns fit in either hand (the left was a bit tight at first though). I love the metallic red paired with the burgundy. I would have thought the two colours would clash, but nope. We don't get enough burgundy on TFs these days. Beautiful, beautiful piece. I knew Bluestreak would be my favourite. :D

I have Prowl. He's great, but I wish they had done Bluestreak first

Do we think that they will do a blue and silver version?

Pics with some other IDW bots. He is about the same size overall as MMC Drift and quite a bit bigger than the MP.

Hey guys, just wondering if this is normal? The hip skirt connection is actually preventing the waist from rotating 180 smoothly. I can still force it enough to go over the bump, but with some chipping. Am I missing something here, or this is some weirdass design flaw?

Mine's the same way. Makes no sense - are the hip skirts on the previous Datsuns this way?

Going thru the usual youtube reviews, the waist section in the previous versions seems to be made of unpainted "softer" plastic? I did notice some chipping too, but none of them actually make any mention of it(seems to have some sort of resistance when rotating, but not as bad as this one). Looks like I'm gonna have to file that rear part to smoothen those goddamn corners. Had me stumped when trying to transform without the instructions lol.

I have no issue rotating the waist from front to backwards - it has a "normal" amount of resistance. But going back it feels like it's going to break something. At least the paint chipping is hidden in both modes.

Is 180 degree rotation needed for the transformation? It's been a while.

    ADDENDUM:. Yes it is needed.

Yeah, and RTB usually has hefty shipping, so it's always best to have several items if one is buying from there
