The product description says "Bumblebee and the Autobots team up with N.E.S.T. to protect the Allspark from the Decepticons". I wonder if this means we'll get N.E.S.T. repaints of other Autobots.

 

Thundercracker only appeared in the comics and he got a Studio Series figure, so something like Breakaway would have precedent. This Bumblebee, while not actually existing anywhere prior to this toy’s development, is kind of like the gold SDCC Bumblebees with the cassettes - it’s a redeco that exists in the Studio Series line for thematic purposes over screen accuracy. I think the color scheme’s alright, but would have preferred it as a new character.

Some of the best stuff out of the movie lines back in the day were characters that never existed, let alone remained exclusive to comics.

I'd love to see Selects/Concepts based on that. Especially if it means something like the original dragon alt for TLK Megatron.

Oh man. An extensive retool of SS Ironhide that homages this would be amazing. Heck make him be part of a wave with a new Bludgeon Mold to represent Cyber Missions. It was a trainwreck, but it was hella amusing. Great for a laugh.

 

A while ago i mentioned how cool it would be to have a 'Concept Series' and i still stand by this. A subway train from TF5. Could have cool looking repaints and such! Wouldnt mind a SS night watch prime
