I checked a bunch of places too and other than eBay RTB is the only option. Sucks for the latecomers.

I'm hoping that since stock went so quickly, they'll produce a 3rd run.

 

Graviter is incoming according to its thread. Retailers are asking for people to finish paying preorders. Other than that, nothing that I know of for sure.

 

I hope so too for those who want this set. They're amazing, easy to transform, and friggin' huge, like a Dinobot should be.

 

100% - The iron dibots are decent (like most FT bots) but don't fit the size and the beauty of the gigapower dinos. I am all in!

Slag was first, and seems like he sold out quick. That was March.
Snarl was next, came in June.
I expected Sludge in September, but August seems early.
I'm guessing Grimlock may come in October. But I'm only seeing the metallic version up for pre-order, not chrome.
Swoop, probably December (total guess).

Whatever units they produced got sold quick, so im hoping they make more for those who missed out. I pre-ordered Slag Sludge and Snarl last year, but that was after I took a chance on a Grimlock and instantly liked him enough to get the rest of the set.

 

The Dinobots are among my favourite Transformers. Really love them to bits. Big, strong, not subtle, and a bit dopey.

Kinda like me- oh wait.

 

My only complaint is the red head is too red. There needs to be other colors in some of the details to keep it’s features from disappearing into a solid red cube from more than a few feet away.



Everytime I see a piece of the styrofoam packaging stuck to him looking like a scratch or blemish I have a micro freak out.

 

Ha! That styrofoam is nicely protective but it fragments and gets everywhere, doesn’t it?

I was looking around and noticed RoboToyBase had him in stock, so I figured it wouldn't be too long. And lo and behold! I expect him next week I think.

 

Only earlier discovered that, unlike Guttur, you can swap out the faces. After consulting with the wife and kids (lots of enthusiasm I tell you) the silver face in the red head is how he’s going to be displayed henceforth.

Just doesn’t look angry enough now . . . I might try using Graviter’s mad face tomorrow (don’t @ me).

 

Now that I've go the 3 reissued dinobots here, I relalised that Grassor's glodish chrome plating is of a different hue when compared to Guttur and Graviter's. It looks more yellowish. Is this the same with yours or was I just lucky...

 

You can swap the faces on Guttur and Graviter, you just have to take the filler plug from the back of the head that exposes the screw. You can get the edge of a blade or spudger around it and it pops right up.

I think is an illusion because most of the area on Grassors plating is flat giving a brighter cleaner reflection where the other two have more molded detail on the plated parts which detracts from the reflective shine it gives off making it appear like it's a different shade, but they are all the same.
