Try calling gamestop's customer service.
They may be able to accommodate a price adjustment.

Call/chat with their Customer Service. They have adjusted the price for others already.

 

I honestly did not think they would do this. Said I should see a refund for the difference in 3 to 5 days!

 

Did your figures ship before you called and they refunded you? I ordered both Slag and Galvatron yesterday afternoon and got an email at 1 in the morning saying they shipped. When I called their customer service this afternoon, they said there was nothing they could do because both items have already shipped. Like, wtf? It's been less than 24 hrs since I ordered and there's no way in hell your warehouse was shipping at 1 a.m.

EDIT-- So I checked out the Gamestop thread to see if anyone else was having better luck, and they recommended using Gamestop's chat feature rather than calling customer service. That did the trick. In less than a minute, I was able to secure a $10 refund for both Slag and Galvatron! Sorry if this conversation is clogging up the sightings thread, but I figured this might help someone save some $$$$.

 

2 Rodimus Prime's were at the North Canton Target. One left with me. Was still there as of 4pm.

 

Also looks like Gamestop still has rodimus online for 80 bucks. Get him while ya can.

 

Glad to hear the CS is getting better. I am a former store employee and know a former corporate employee. They decided to bring CS in house again, and as far as I know, some of the phone support and all the chat support is now in house again, likely why you had a LOT of good luck with the chat support. Gamestop is still doing a lot weird/not great in terms of decisions, but they are trying.

 

I know this has been resolved for you but yeah the chat is what I used. Was fixed in a matter of maybe 15 minutes

I'm even more impressed now. I went back on their website and noticed the third figure I ordered (G2 Megs) had also been reduced in price. I started a second chat and in less that a minute was also refunded the difference for that too! If you still talk to anyone at their corporate office, tell them that this kind of service is what convinced me to place another order with them today! This time it was Commander Class Rodimus, Skorponok, Wingfinger, and just for fun I threw in a Transmutate. Man it will feel good to delete those off of my Amazon wishlist!

Ollies in the same area has more discount TFs: Earthrise Snapdragon and Ironworks, ER Micromasters (hotrod and Military 2-packs), SS Scavenger, and BotBots series 4(blue bubble) 5-packs. Also Rescue Bots Boulder.

 

Trueman Target has two MPM 12 and a single Ectotron, as of 9:29am today.

 

Chillicothe Ollie's has Earthrise Snapdragon & Ironworks. No Apeface though.

 

Never thought Ollies would get exclusives.

 

Heath Target has 5 SS Thrusts and no Wreck-gars which is of course the only figure from the wave I want

 

Was at Grove city target they had one wreck-gar and Walmart next door had 2 Rodimus primes that was at around 3pm

 

Just picked up the only Wreck-Gar at Grove City Target, but they still had a few Thrusts, a couple Kingdom UM’s and 4 Rodimus Primes. This was about an hour ago.

 

Hilliard-Rome Rd Target had a Galvatron with corrected shoulders (and an Ultra Magnus) tonight. It was on the Transformers endcap with a buncha T-Wreckes.

 

Truman Blvd Target also had a fixed shoulder Galvatron and some Magnuses and MP BB OPs

 

Sugarcreek Target had an MPM BB OP and a couple Moss Man Revelations figures. Not much else of note though. I hope that MPM figure stays around long enough to hit clearance. I like him but can't justify the price.
