Had a dream that didn’t have anything to do with Transformers, but for a couple seconds there was a sketch pad in it that I was looking through with some Transformers stuff inside. The pages were black and about the same aspect ratio as A Size Letter paper, but were around twice the size. One page had like a hand drawn meme of Galvatron, and another had two character models on it for an Optimus and Megatron. When I woke up I sketched them out and got the art style down. I’m going to see if I can recreate that page at some point.

 

I had a dream with Sunstreaker where he was behind a mountain, and I think it was me or Optimus and we were yelling at him to "TRANSFORM!" LOL! He couldn't figure out how to get around the cliff or get on it which was funny. Happened a few weeks ago, I still remember that  

 

Due to the meds I take it often leads me to have weird, sometimes quite vivid dreams. I've also been using a dream journal for awhile now and the other night I had a rather interesting one involving Rise of the Beasts, and this wouldn't be the first time I've had dreams about upcoming things I've been anticipating and thinking about a lot.

I was seeing bits from the movie and don't remember all the specifics except for snippets.

My visualization of Scourge and his team (I'm pretty sure I recall seeing at least Blot, Sinnertwin and Rippersnapper with him, alongside Nightbird who was a head shorter than most of them xD) were antagonizing an Autobot that I think was meant to be Outback? I remember thinking that's who I thought it was, Scourge's claw arm thingie was more like Silver's cyborg arm from Treasure Planet, able to take on different forms and functions, a claw one minute and the next a welder-looking thing. I remember being impressed with the designs all around which is incredibly bizarre to say because they appear to have mostly been the product of my imagination.

As if this hypothetical didn't deviate from what we know already, it seems Scourge works for Megatron rather than Unicron. He's seen talking to Megatron, Starscream and Soundwave (who were mostly obscured because the place they communicated was really dark for some reason) and the scene in retrospect reminds me a little too much of the exchange between Steppenwolf and Desaad + Darkseid.

Whereas while menacing Autobots and Maximals Scourge was like a cruel sadist who called the shots, in front of Megatron and his enforcers he looked kinda pathetic, and I remember his burning facial hair not being a thing while talking to them, he looked like a whipped dog in front of them. I think Starscream mocked him for the badges he'd hang on himself, also I think Soundwave replayed a previous conversation in order to mock him? A lot like TFP Soundwave while looking very G1-esque. They didn't seem to respect him that much and thought "Terrorcon" was a stupid name.

Also I seemed to recall Nightbird being afraid to be seen with Scourge and his guys, because she's a famous traitor among Decepticons and I think Megs put a bounty out on her or something?

Besides some other random things that's all I can remember.     Like being impressed when I saw Razorbeast and Wolfang among the Maximals in some scene, I think I also saw Tarantulas and I audibly said "FUCK YEAH." which I'd never do IRL.    

 

So I had this dream where, in order to fully transform him back and forth because of some wired mechanism, it was announced that HL Star Saber requires actual phone verification on this app.
Like the legs are locked in place until you link the figure up with this app and need to press a button on your screen that unlocks him. You have to do this every time you transform him. At least it wasn't microtransacted.

 

You're giving them ideas...

Once I dreamt that Phelous did a review of MTMTE. Needless to say if that was an actual thing then my serotonin levels would go off the roof.

 

Last night I remember dreaming about finding several Transformers bootlegs at the 99 Cents store. Some of them were packaged with Pokemon cards too. That's all I remember.

 

Many months back, I had this dream where some TFWiki mod insisted that RotF Grindor was a Mormon who owned a bakery back on Cybertron. He persistently kept trying edit the Grindor wiki page over and over with his own take, along with info about the editor's Soundcloud podcast, until he was eventually banned. This incident caused a mild shit storm across certain sectors of the internet.

 

This is an excerpt from a very long dream I wrote down many months ago

"The show had Transformers with weird names, Dipshark being one of them. They talk in car mode by weird side mouth things that open and close. Dipshark is green with a very blocky car mode. Him, Jack from Prime, and another robot fall from the sky. Jack somehow replaces Dipshark’s wheels with bike wheels before they hit the ground which somehow saves them. Dipshark’s voice sounds like Skids’ voice from “Triple Takeover”. Dipshark says “thank you”. For some reason Aqua man’s dead body is being showed off in a very plain suburb which is also right next to a rocky cliff with ocean next to it. A dog jumps off the cliff and plays dead in the water. It comes back up and almost jumps off the cliff again but doesn’t. Jack is narrating this dog’s actions like they’re important but I wake up before it’s explained why."

 

After a year of rumors for K Galvatron I became a bit obsessed with getting him. Then I dreamt I went to a store (Marshals maybe?) and found him discounted for like 30 bucks. I wasn’t upset he was missing the Matrix chain, Nemesis ships, or had a nasty scratch on his cannon, I just really wanted him after missing the in-stock time window. But for some reason, my mom wouldn’t let me get him!(I am not 7 years old I just never bring any money unless I am actively looking for a figure)

 

I also had a dream where I was at Target looking for the new core class Legacy figures and stumbled upon an empty toy aisle. However, there was acutally a collector who got their hands on one of them and because I am unusually cute for a transformers fan he decided to hand it over.

 

Had a dream last night that they released a Transformers Netflix series that was animated like Castlevania, and those kinds of shows.

It featured Jazz as the protagonist, and pretty much the only character in the first episode, just chilling on earth and befriending a group of 20-somethings using a holo-avatar. In this universe the Autobots and Decepticons battled in the 80s or something, but both factions seemingly left. Like they lost interest and just went somewhere else where there was a greater battle to be fought, and in turn toys and media was made of them by toy companies because people thought those giant alien robots were SICK. Jazz decided to stay on earth and just pretend to be a human, but he would also come off as more passionate then his other portrayels, being genuinely angry when a Decepticon shows up at one point and threatens his human friends (the Decepticons were just two generics that looked kind of like they were designed by Milne, but with a more industrial look and feel). He came off as a really sick protagonist and when I woke up I was kind of disappointed I didn't get to watch more of it.

 

With a little more fine tuning that actually sounds like a great idea for a series. I mean with Jazz's love of human culture it makes sense that he'd be the last one left on Earth after everyone else left. I just think there should of been a better reason for everyone to leave Earth, like setting this in a post war time period where the Autobots beat the Decepticons and most of them returned to Cybertron. The conflict could start with some rogue Decepticons starting trouble on Earth again and Jazz being the only Autobot left having to call Cybertron for help. Maybe the signal doesn't reach Cybertron right away but instead reaches some other Autobots scattered on other planets like I imagine Cosmos wouldn't have really returned to Cybertron but wouldn't have stayed on Earth either.

 

Yeah I mean it was a dream so not everything made sense. At one point they start playing a game with the toys that is like yugioh with action figures…. but the way it was framed it seemed like the Autobots left in a similar way to how Devastation handled it with Prime just abandoning earth because there was a situation somewhere else and they were the nearest contact. There wasn’t really anything said about the Decepticons, just that they were there too and also aren’t there anymore. But Hasbro in this universe was selling Shockwave toys based on the real ass Shockwave so they I guess knew them well enough that they made their presence known on earth. In fact it seemed like most of the action was flashbacks of Jazz fighting Shockwave in the 80s, whereas the modern day action was more brief and would have focused more on how Jazz was living as an alien robot blending in with modern day human society and not as much of him trying to save the world.

And yeah it’s weird I’m not even a huge Jazz fan but I was just digging this dream Jazz. He also, for some reason, had the G1 Ratchet/Ironhide toy screen covering his head, which looked pretty cool in the Netflix thumbnail of the show, where he was just standing in a dark street and you couldn’t make out his face behind the glass. Granted in most of the show he mostly interacted with people as a hologram of a human. I’m sure if this was a real show there would be more Autobots that would show up, but it was honestly really chill having it just be Jazz hanging out with a group of young adults and enjoying the night life.

 

I had one yesterday morning. I dreamed I was buying the latest round of G1 reissues, which included the Battlechargers, Constructicons, and Minibots. I was delighted to get new Battlechargers, whose tight springs meant their gimmick actually worked and they stood up straight when they transformed, but the others were really interesting. They were slightly remolded and included new parts. Windcharger had a tiny gun he could hold and some other tiny piece that plugged into a hole on his back window in car mode, and Bonecrusher came with a little sword that stored in his bulldozer mode canopy. And all of the Constructicons were G2 yellow.

 

The craziest thing about that dream is G1 Transformers with dedicated weapon storage.

 

Had another one a couple hours ago, another "lost" or "forgotten" episode from the '80s that's missing from all the DVD collections and just randomly shows up on the YouTube channel or wherever I had been dreaming I was watching it. This time it was a Stunticon episode, they were guarding (or perhaps hijacking) a train shipment of energy.

 

The other night I had a vivid dream I was an Autobot in a shoot out with some Decepticons and my wife said that I was talking in my sleep but just making "pew pew pew" sounds

 

I have a dream I was rearranging my shelf, and Solar Storm Grappel was on one of my shelfs. I don't own him. I do own hot zone and play around with him a lot, so my mind was able to fill in the blanks. I was thinking about Buying Solar Storm Grappel.
