THIS!!! I NEED all three of them updated. Been debating how I’d fill the Octopunch and Stranglehold gap as soon as I saw this Bludgeon figure. Preordered it like 2 weeks ago on BBTS, whatever that’s worth.

    I've said it before:

I'll get any Action Masters, Pretender Shells, and Non-Transforming characters (Alpha Trion, Emirate Xaaron, Beta, Alana robot ver.) they do.

-ZacWilliam, Give me Cloudburst, Waverider, Sky High, Bomb-Burst, Rad, and Rollout.

I saw a post on facebook about someone saying "too bad they didn't make it openable for a non-transforming robot to go inside or at least be with it." I agree!

Thanks for the link, some neat insights into the process. Also neat to see someone literally say that they can't make transforming toys. That feels like something we've understood for years but never (or at least really rarely) have someone say it directly.

I really hope we get Devcon from this line. Partner him with Slzardo or make Slizardo his own figure because, as we all know, Slizardo is the greatest non-robotic Transformers character and needs merch! There was also an interview a while back when Super7's TMNT Ultimates line started and it was stated that you could look at their Reaction line to get an idea of where the Ultimates line is headed and, with that in mind, if/when they get to Alpha Trion, I REALLY hope it's big enough to look at home in an MP display!

Also hoping they do some Transformers/G.I. Joe crossover stuff with Old Snake and the Rodimus, Springer, Ultra Magnus, and Arcee synthoids from "Being Human" and, most of all, Flint and Lady Jaye's daughter Marissa Fairborne!

I'm really hoping we get some Marvel characters like Xaaron, Scrounge or Straxus, I'm hoping the Marvel Bludgeon head is a clue.

I also really hope we get a Death's Head. If there was ever a need of a nontransforming marvel figure in this scale, it's got to be Death's Head.

He belongs to Marvel officially, so he'd be more likely to show up in Marvel Legends.

Hopefully Marvel Legends does him, and hopefully he's a larger figure.

This brings up an interesting question about some of the figures I most want to see. I get that Death's Head is a Marvel character (IIRC he first appeared in a non-TF strip precisely to block Hasbro from claiming rights), so indeed it seems that if we're going to get him it will be through Marvel (not holding my breath there).

But it does also seem as if comic-only characters like Scrounge, Straxus and Xaaron have been conspicuous by their absence from toylines over the years (closest we've had was Darkmount I think? An oblique homage at best). Is there some actual reason for this, such as legal complications or a general wish not to tread on Marvel's toes?

Someone please prove me wrong and make a Xaaron!!

Hasbro did release a repainted thrilling 30 Cosmos as Scrounge in the Combiner Wars Computron set.

I would also like Super7 to make some Marvel comic characters: fused Megatron/Ratchet, Xaaron, Hook, Line, Sinker, Scrounge, etc.

For all the characters, I imagine they would be correct the scale for some toys but not in scale with some other toys. You just have to find which toys they are in scale with.

I think it's just a popularity/obscurity thing. Impactor gets toys without issue, and there was the Straxus(Darkmount) and Scrounge. I believe there's a Straxus rumored for the upcoming line too. We also got Nightstalker in MP, and he was from a art contest in Marvel.

Hasbro's current focus is very much still on US cartoon G1, but we get bits here and there. Diaclone and G2 homages are pretty easy to do as they still use the same bodies while comics-original characters would need remolding at minimum and whole new molds ideally. That said, starting with Kingdom and going into the next line, we're getting more and more non-US cartoon G1 stuff, so I wouldn't be shocked if they happen eventually.

How have I never seen that Scrounge before?! Actually not a bad attempt.

Fused Megs/Ratchet is a great suggestion btw. For me a line like this should really play to their strengths, which is non-transforming characters of all kinds, of which there are plenty!
I'd totally forgotten about Impactor, although he's obviously the Netflix show version (which raises the question of who decided to bring that character back, the tv writers or Hasbro?). But at least it proves they can do it when they want, which is nice to know. Heck, if there were actual accurate transforming mainline toys of guys like Straxus and even Xaaron I'd much rather have those than just action figure versions.

Which brings us back round to Pretenders, Action Masters etc I guess.
