Galvatron’s gone. Was really hoping I’d be able to snag this one since I’m not too far from MWC but nope. This is really starting to piss me off, everywhere that’s way too far from me has the toys I want but my own Targets haven’t had anything besides Arcee for MONTHS.
Several Worlds Collide sets at the Target on Penn & Memorial, plus quite a few Classified Lady Jaye and Flint for anyone looking.
Anyone else notice lately that the boys' toy isles have been completely barren lately? Like not even one or two lines but basically everything - an entire aisle of empty pegs. Doesn't matter where you go either - Walmart, Target they are all the same. All the other aisles are brimming with stuff. It's odd. It's like the only stuff that gets consistently stocked are wrestling toys and those Fortnite toys...
I have noticed this and also the DC and marvel stuff depending on the Store. Where are the formers!?! Its like they stores tried to stock up on all of wave 1 and they shelf warm...then they don't order later waves cause they "still have inventory that can sell" AND NOBODY WANTS FREAKING ARCEE!
Some of it I'm sure is the obsession with "just in time" "efficiency" (how efficient is it when people stop visiting your store at all because you only stock enough for a day once a week?) I'm sure "inventory by assortment box" doesn't help either - "see we still have 30 toys from the last wave on the shelves"; noone seems to care that that's the shelfwarmer of the assortment.
I seem to recall there used to be a time when Hasbro and Mattel reps used to visit stores to check inventory and see what was on shelves. Do they not do this anymore?
I would be really surprised if they did. Everything is data/telecom, and especially with C going on, "eyes on" assessments have got to be more rare than ever.
Somebody hid an MPM BB OP behind some Grimlocks at Quail Springs Target - I was there 30 minutes ago. I only saw the one. I just left it hidden.

They still do. I've run into several Hasbro reps in the last year. There still checking shelves. But they can only deal with the stock on hand. They don't bring anything with them. They will put things out when the store has them in back. I saw one restocking a m.legends wave a couple of months ago. They're just as frustrated as we are about lack of stock on shelves. Like us, they can't get the stock off the boats any more than we can.
The one I had pre-ordered from Pulse arrived today, and I reside in OK so he was "spotted" at my residence. Not sure if that technically counts as answering your question though. +-MWG-+
Scored T-Wrecks and Origins Bee at Tulsa Hills Target 1-3 hours ago. Key note - they, along with 1 Kingdom Ultra Magnus and 1 Kingdom Arcee, were not with the other transformers. They were on an endcap display several aisles away facing Electronics. I think someone may have mentioned something like this before. There were several T-wrecks and at least a couple Origins Bee left when I left.
