Ha, yeah, I know...that's something I've been doing my entire online life - I've been around since the days of the old newsgroups/forums/BBS systems where you had to do so since they were so archaic that sometimes you didn't have a way to identify yourself other than tag your name/handle at the bottom of your post.

I've been doing it for 30 years or so, and I'm probably not gonna stop anytime soon. At this point, I guess it's sorta my thing.

I don't know if this will make either of us feel better or worse about the situation but the same thing happened to me. Yesterday my shipping for Blurr said arriving Monday. Today my shipping for Blurr says:



So that's... Cool. I'll try again later today but that's concerning. Weird that it's happening to multiple people with the same order.

 

I used alt.games.final-fantasy and a few others back in the BBS era myself, I think I was about 12, lol. No worries man, you do you. Not sure how I never noticed you doing that before!

 

Well, Ramjet just arrived. Fedex had apparently seen fit to cave in approximately 1/3 of the shipping box. Like mashed from one corner inward uncomfortably far... Fortunately, it somehow missed the box and just destroyed their own. Whew!

 

That kind of thing happened with the box my ER Thrust came from TFSource in. My heartrate shot up to NO!!! until I got it open and saw Thrust and his box were fine. Looked like someone hit the thing with a forklift...

 

My card just got charged for the Retro Beast Wars. The weird part is I was partially charged. There's a charge of $51.66 and another of $51.08.

I got 2 each of Rattrap and Cheetor, and 1 each of Primal and Megs. I wonder which ones went through?

Edit: Primal and Rattrap are in stock. Looks like I got charged for those 2. Cheetor and Megs are still showing the 9/1 release date.

 

FedEx tracking seems to be restored. My Blurr is in Ohio now, with a status of "potentially delayed", but at least he's out of Georgia.

Whoohoo! SG Blurr should arrive today and SG Starscream is being prepared for shipment apparently.

 

And... I've just backed Star Saber. This'll be my first HasLab purchase.   I hope he goes through.

Yeah, something's going on with these. Mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday even to the point of it being "Out for Delivery", but that never happened, and now it says today, but usually the Fedex truck would have arrived by now...

Bad printer on the address labels? I dunno...

 

That's a very good point and I totally respect your reaction. I wanted to see more, too! But I wouldn't be surprised if we see a colored render or two before the window closes, as a way to goose more interest and reignite discussion and activity around it. That's also why they don't reveal all of the tiers up front, because each unlock offers a new surprise and thing for people to talk about. Which, at the end of the day, will lead to more purchases. The good news is, we will not be punished for patience. Although the thing is already nearly a quarter funded and it hasn't even been 5 hours yet. I'm chuffed.

 

Huh, my SG Blurr keeps getting delayed for "operational issues." That's a first. Was originally due yesterday, then today, now Monday.

Edit: Oh hey should've caught up on the thread, guess I'm not alone? Still odd.
