I\'m willing to back this but those hollow bits NEED to be filled in for 180 bucks. IDC if they add flaps, or they give us official fill in pieces. But if they are gonna charge us a premium for a leader class and a voyager class they gotta step up their game with little things like that! 

 

This is so awesome. Already backed it, but I may grab 2 to keep one in Victory Saber bot mode. It's going to be a long year, but a great one when this, the Rancor, and Galactus arrive.

Also on a side note, this is exactly how you do a Haslab project. I'm all for giant figures, but the giant price tag kept me away from Unicron. $400 is about as far as I'll go. But smaller, more affordable Haslab projects? I'm all in for them!

 

That's because Wreckgar39 never said Deathsaurus would be a leader class. He just said that Deathsaurus has a shot to be included in 2023. That was it.

I assume he would be a commander. He may not be all that complex, but he still needs to stand toe to toe with Star Saber.

Could be in part due to the resin test shot being not finished and the fragility of resin test shots are a factor. Maybe they didn't want to fully convert to avoid breakage. It's not an easy to spot detail so they could have decided to leave it be.

Now if future reveals of more durable prototypes still have the arms positioned like this, I'd be critical.

In the anime Victory Leo had a tail whip, which isn’t currently present. The Masterpiece Saber in Star Saber also had a smaller V-Sword (which admittedly was more for scale), there is his shield which doubled as a flight stand (again this is the Masterpiece) plus the mentioned Micromaster Holi (and Jan, perhaps with that little thing he used to ride around on as well)

Finally I’d like some effects pieces that could go with the sword, that would be pretty cool too.

Prototypes look good, also happy about the size. The hollow spots are a bit of a bummer; eh I guess gaps are just here to stay, Haslab or not (although Haslab may sounds more ‘premium’ to many of us than it obviously is).

How did you come to this? Judging from the comparison with Siege Hound in the video I’d say Star Saber will be about 10 inch tall.

 

WHAT THE ACTUAL FFFFF!!! How can they make such a horribly designed figure after the Masterpiece one???? All those empty holes, those horrible robot modes... NO NO NO. I was very hyped for this but god, the Masterpiece MP-24 is 1000% better than this.

I own MP Star Saber and the KFC Victoy Leo, they are still the better figures from what I am seeing of this effort.

Because it's not a Masterpiece figure; it's a Generations figure, with Generations articulation and Generations gaps, for a much lower price. (I 100% guarantee you that China will be cranking out gap filler upgrades at the earliest opportunity.)

Half the price and 3k fewer required backers than Galactus and Galactus is now 17k. I see this thing passing easy.

not really completely different toys and styles. i am not seeing this as a replacement
