I havent made any checks and I dont have the figure anyway but if MP-52 is accurate with the well publicized scale charts theres not much more to be said on it and its just personal preferences

I feel like the ideal height for Starscream is the top of his head should be levelled with the top of Prime's chest. DS is half a head too tall, MP-52 is half a head too short.......KO to the rescue, lol. I guess MP-11's height is the ideal. I don't recall people complaining much on his size.

The cartoon has fucked us over. Starscream being the same height as Ironhide feels right in my head, and the MP figures are of the same height, but MP-52 still comes off looking like a midget next to Prime and Megatron. So MP Ironhide is too short?

They showed that he has this joint, which he uses for extreme poses. Maybe it could be used to make him a bit shorter if you like, but it might make his legs too far apart. FB_IMG_1629143834657.jpg

In my opinion the top of Starscream's head should hit about the chin of Megatron. That seems about accurate average what we see in the toon.

Every picture I see seems to have the wing at an odd angle every time an arm is moved. Meteor, for example, has adjustable wings but I never felt like it broke the sculpt like a lot of the pictures (like the one above this post) does. So i'm wondering if this is just b/c they think it looks cool, or does it have to be extended so far to have the arm movement? If it's the latter I have to rethink my desire for the figure. Waiting patiently for more videos/reviews.

It really doesn't look like it's necessary to move the wings for arm clearance. They just think it looks cool I'm sure. I also don't care for wings fluttering around like a butterfly, cos Starscream never did that, but nice that they are articulated for those who might appreciate it.

The pictures in the front page shows the arms posed and the wings in the standard position.

Just gonna' throw this out: nobody cares for your take on scale. Everything that can be said on the subject has been said and everybody who is interested in scale already has their mind made up. You can keep going but it's not going to accomplish anything and it just makes you all look silly.

G1 didn't do it but I really enjoyed how Starscream's wings animated in Transformers Prime. As I recall, it got a bit exaggerated in later episodes but I still mostly liked it.

Everyone has there own criteria about scale. And regardless what anyone says, there really isn’t an ‘authority’ about the issue.

    ‘But the scale chart!”

Yeah, ok. It’s a reference. It certainly isn’t a law to abide by because sunbow didn’t abide by it either

I don’t mind it so long as the wings can stay in position. SIEGE Starscream is able to pivot the wings out like that and I like it since it makes for a more dynamic look, as shown on some of the DS pictures.
