Looks remolded to me. The circle on Pumpkin is 3 dimensional and has a shadow, and there's no such thing on my Cell.

Made the mistake of putting those stupid spikes on. Made the transfomation far more difficult with the rings and just uncomfortable to grasp. I'll be removing some of 'em.

I have a headcanon that Unicron is kind of like Galactus and he too can freely change his size and mass. They're pretty similar characters archetype-wise, after all.

For those wondering how he looks next to Legends, here's Cell and a couple of little dudes...

that looks great man. i really like the look of the fig.

the one thing that sticks in my side are the new wings. i wish they had an extra hinge on those lower pieces to help curve them.

Why do you have to replace the shoulder panels? For the wings upgrade?

Use the large gaps on the front of the panels, in the side of the tube for the pin. You can push them out from there with a small flat screwdriver or other narrow tool. Much easier than trying to get them out from the top or bottom.
For correct colours in alt mode. I replaced the back shoulder panels on mine, so that the top half of the planet mode has more cohesive colours, and you don't see the difference in bot mode from most angles.

Doggone it. Ended up removing almost all of the spikes. They really get in the way! On top of that, I'd move them in and out of place from one mode to the next and they'd just pop off. Got sick of it when one went flying to the floor.

Picked it up, pried 'em all off and said "nope".

Left the ones that sink into the forearms. Those are fine.

Sad I didn't know the shoulders slide. Gosh, that cut time off of the transformation by a good bit. =\

Tf: prime also pretty much shows Unicron being able to take physical form from whatever physical matter around him, so one could make the case that size is irrelevant when Unicron has the ability to manipulate matter to create whatever physical form he wants, regardless of his true mass or energy.

Been busy so just last night got around to opening up my Pumpkin. It's everything I hoped it would be and more! Definitely the new centerpiece of my Transformers collection

Haslab was too expensive and honestly hadn't seen the 86 movie by the time the campaign came and went. Decided what the focus was going to be for my collection and then needed a Unicron. This was the perfect one for me because it was cheaper and I like the colors better than Cell. Might be a while before I give the transformation a try though. He's just so impressive in robot mode

Also I realized I didn't spread the wings out. Will try to do that later when I try to figure out where all the spikes and screw hole covers go.

If you want to transform him, I recommend not installing the spikes until after. They'll come off and get in the way. I ended up uninstalling them on mine.

Just realized that not only are Unicron & Galactus both planet-eaters... they both remake lesser beings into their heralds. :lol  Brothers from another mother for sure.
