    It's like a low-key One More Day crossed with a classic Marvel Team-Up. I think it may be a bit of a mess tbh but I still suspect it will be more entertaining than Eternals.

    My only real issue with MOTU: Revelations is Skeletor's voice.

    I honestly thought for a moment there you were referring to the song from Les Mis and now I want to see the MCU do a big, end of Act 1 musical montage.

    I just emailed ShowZ about that. Mine arrived at Heathrow on the 6th August. There was an issue with the customers charge. I told TFSafari to just put down the full price. Then since the 15th it's just been showing "
    UBI LOGISTICS, PRE-ADVICE".

    I think this is getting in to "sex" vs "gender", but I'd say Holly and Kryten absolutely have gender. And that whole thing during season 8 was a bit... ehh.

    (I absolutely love Red Dwarf, but boy does that show have trouble writing women. Kochanski's character in season 7 and 8 was either "girl", "whiny" or "girl who is whiny". Oh, she likes condiments to be in certain places and she wants things to be tidy because she's a woman and aren't all women like that eh lads?)

    Ooh, I'm really curious as to what this refers to. Personally, I liked Garfield but I do think he was far, far too old. And maybe a touch too "cool"?

    Also, have we really had someone complaining about MJ's casting in the year of our lord 2021? Do they know that Homecoming came out 4 years ago?

    (Although, saying that, I would have probably still dyed her hair subtly red. Just because it then means the bigots can't hide behind that as an excuse. Maybe not for the first film where they're being coy with the whole "MJ" thing, but definitely for Far From Home.)

    I collect Grimlocks but also tend to get the other Dinobots if they make them. So when AOE came out I naturally got all of the Dinobots. It was quite fun collecting them and I bought them all in person (I got Strafe whilst on a trip to NI in Belfast city centre TRU). But when it came to trimming down my collection they all got the cull.

    I was vaguely aware of the G1 versions of these figures but since I had the originals I didn’t bother getting them, and then I just forgot about them.

    But then @nice sideburns (being the top gent that he is) offered them up! I didn’t really like the way the Dinobots were drawn in IDW, but I like these because they remind me of that style (is that weird?). It’s a shame they didn’t do the other two in the same colours.

    Swoop though is my favourite!

    He is a total tank and helped by the fact that we keep him lean, fit and healthy.
    The way he consumes food I could have called him Guzzle.

    It isn’t easy to find them at a good price online and I’ve yet to find a UK site that stocks them for a reasonable price.
    @IrnBro got hold of some of their flight stands and I’d like to get my hands on a couple to link with this set.

    @Feloniicharges,
    No, it's usually a "fight or flight" reaction. Until the laws here changed fairly recently it was possible to have the gland removed which I know was the case with some of the skunks I handled but John & Sallie also had some that weren't "done" and they had a couple of stories about how long it took to get rid of the smell when they got spooked by some of their other animals.

    @Brum Bot,
    Fair enough! :D

    @Dobbie,
    In my 20 plus year experience talking to a professional such as a counsellor or psychiatrist achieves nothing that can help my specific issues.

    It can work for others so I'm not trying to denounce that approach completely but I found myself going round in circles which was frustrating.

    All the official mental health support services are badly underfunded and any time there's been any kind of social group or something similar that would do me any good it never lasted more than a couple of weeks due to the aforementioned lack of money and it was back to square one.

    Constantly having to do that was very disheartening and I also imagine it was the same for the good people I came across who wanted to help folk.

    I am going to be exploring options for getting out of this house which might take some time because nothing can ever be changed as instantly as I'd like but that'll be a start.

    A few people here have been helpful in pointing me in the right direction of local services which I am thankful for and I have also got a notebook and started writing down things I think I'll need to know or consider as part of any move situation......a lot of it will be common sense but having it all down on paper to refer to will help because I have a lot of white noise to shut out at home and would end up forgetting stuff.

    I have no intrest in what @rikkomba says because a while ago he insinuated I was weird because I refuse to own a mobile device at which point he went on the Ignore list.

    I am also aware of one recent post which came across as a dig for bringing my issues to this thread so I believe his position on me is quite clear at this point......I've no tolerance for piss takers.

    If anything I say here bothers people because it infringes on their robot talk or anything else, then I suggest using the Ignore feature, it's that easy.

    Right, toys,
    [IMG]Shockwave by Brendan Mitchell, on Flickr

    Newage Shockwave is a lovely bit of purpleness. The robot mode looks great and is suitably posable, haven't tried transforming it yet or installing the battery as I've not been in the mood but really pleased with the robot mode.....the hose is probably a bit out of scale but at this size they couldn't really go any smaller without making it super fragile so it'll do.

    I love the subtle metallic they've used which is a bit like their Galvatron variant in that it doesn't always show in pictures but when the light hits it right it really pops and having the Shockwave pistol for him to hold is a great accessory, he's also got a saluting/judo chop hand.

    [IMG]Austins by Brendan Mitchell, on Flickr

    "Stunning" Steve Austin comes with the removable vest, a WCW Television title belt, a clapper board which was part of the Hollywood Blondes gimmick, 1 set of grabby hands and 1 set of fists.

    The likeness is pretty good for the time period and it uses the same body parts as the Stone Cold I have which was actually a custom made using more accurate parts than the initial Elite figures of him had way back so they match up pretty well.

    I like having the TV title as I can also use that with amongst others, Arn Anderson and Lord Steven Regal who were both multiple time holders of it.

    Got a message from Ringside Collectables this morning saying they have the new Survivor Series Elites in so I might get the Hogan but Bret is a pass because he still has those oversized open hands and the melted looking face.

    Hogan's headsculpt is also very cartoony but I can swap the one from the old Defining Moments figure onto it if the shades of orange match up :D

    I saw they were doing the Star Wars one "this fall", so I'm surprised they've decided to do Transformers and Star Wars ones at the same time.

    Are we certain that they'll announce Star Saber on Friday?

    Also, I should clarify I meant polar opposite of a bigot. Which is probably just a bigot but with a different perspective. I didn't mean 'not a bigot'.

    Extreme views on either side of any argument are unhelpful and sometimes dangerous. Even if the subject matter is something where the basic answer seems obvious.

    Brian, I actually have a thing for beautiful Irishmen, but I seem to have driven the majority of them out of West Yorkshire. Look me up some time?
    Thank you, both. I can't imagine how I could possibly fail. See below for outfit for the night.

    How about we just cut all the He-man(and WWE ) chat from this thread. It's alright as the occasional aside but it's swamping the place, and when there's dedicated threads for it elsewhere it feels a bit off to fill this one with it too! I'm sure it's putting off some other regulars too

    I am pretty sure they'll announce Codename:Star Saber, HasLab's new version of Armada Superbase OP with a self-transforming trailer, in partnership with Tesla

    I've got money on it being a repaint of the Siege Megatron mold in Star Saber colours. I don't think it's been redecoed enough yet.

    Yeah, I know all signs point to it, but I'm shocked they're running two big franchise projects at the same time.

    The Rancor project is confirmed, see Star Wars HasLab – Hasbro Pulse, so I wondered if Transformers might be pushed back to accommodate both running without overlapping? Backing two Haslab projects prior to Xmas is a big ask...

    If it is Star Saber I’ll be happy for you lot.
    Loads of love for the Japanese Stuff on this board.
    It will be a pass from me as I simply have no connection with the Japanese series after Headmasters.

    This is the way.

    Trailers seem to be a bit of a lost art these days. That and the marketing/media campaigns to promote a lot of the big movies go way over the top showing too much and spend too much time in the public consciousness before the actual release of the movie.
