How the heck did I miss this being up on Pulse?!? I check this board at least once a day. If they don't show on Walgreens.com within the next month or so, then, off to eBay I go, I guess. Ugh...
Don't worry about it in the immediate. Walgreens goes nuts with Toys during the Holidays, so they likely already have their allocation, but wont put it on the site/into stores for a little bit. ALL Walgreens exclusives in the last like 5 years have been arriving in October, except 1, which was November.
Completely missed that he was on Pulse myself, but an excellent looking figure. Red limbs and vehicle mode just pop that much more than the Siege one. Only, I do prefer the black shins with the indigo paint apps/silver feet over the grey.
Yes, it was strange because it just seemed to appear on Pulse the same day Perceptor, Coronation Starscream, and the Sweep could be preordered. I think I got notification while looking at Facebook via the BWTF page. When I checked Pulse, it was not on the front page or under the new arrivals. I had to search for "Red Alert" but it did come up. Had to wait until the Pulse Premium window expired at 2 PM Eastern, and right at that time, I was happily surprised it was still available. When ER Bluestreak was released last October at Walgreen's (I believe), they were not to be found in my area in any store until after Christmas. But in January, I was able to find one to my happy surprise. I think it was the last ER figure I found at retail. Good luck to you...I heard they made A LOT of these so I hope you get yours!
Seems like they left Red Alert out of the livestream out of deference to Walgreens. Wasn't there some kind of snafu with Bluestreak last year where he was announced on a Pulse livestream but WG never opened the orders? I found the Red Alert listing from Preternia on Twitter. It wasn't even in a Pulse email.
EXACT same here. Just checked FedEx tonight and there was a blurb about an unreadable barcode and the box label was replaced. New expected ship date is tomorrow...fingers crossed.
Apparently the driver has six different girlfriends in the town of Tracy. He's got to see them all. Packages that need delivery be damned!!!
It hasn't said anything other then pending the whole time, no estimated arrival. And it's been doing this for 5 days, but it didn't all fit in the screen shot lol Hahaha
Today I equipped RA with the nonnef gun and launcher. Now just need to wait for toyhax to dress him up to be more G1 toy accurate. He was one of my few 84-85 Transformers as a kid.
https://i.imgur.com/Lu6DW.gif Mines doing the same thing. He looks great from the pics of those who have him.
Minute nitpicking, his Autobot symbol tampo is kind off blurry, though easily remedied with various ones ( I used a dry transfer decal symbol), I'd prefer if it was more sharper.
FedEx SmartPost is now called "FedEx Ground Economy". It seems instead of having USPS do final leg of delivery, FedEx handles it all, but it has NO acutal timeframe. It just moves around and gets delivered whenever they decide it can move.
It's still the same process, unfortunately. It's cheaper because it moves so much slower, only getting on a truck when there's room for the item. So, it can sit for days while it waits for a spot. Once on the truck, it moves through the SmartPost/Ground Economy paths, which can be truck/semi only and never get near a train or vice versa. And the locations tend to be far-flung and in smaller communities. It's when they get closer to the destination that your local FedEx hub takes ownership of it and the process speeds up. Different delivery method, same process. It sucks. I just received the Zeta Unicron repaint this past weekend and it was handed over to SmartPost in PA and it sat there for pretty much an entire day waiting for a spot. It's a huge box, though... Once it did depart Breinigsville, though, it got to the Pittsburgh/Youngstown area pretty quickly.
Someone in california is saying their friend saw kingdom red alert at walgreens, i guess the hunt starts now
