In fact, the excavator and the frontloader both originate from that construction combiner set. I believe the red repaints were mixed and matched with other combiners from the same line (the excavator, for example, found itself re-used as part of the Fire Rescue team for some reason :lol  )
Fire Rescue Corps, Combiner, Transformers KnockOff KO, Action Figure Checklist Photos

These have been around for a little while, and have been knocked-off here and there (KOKO?)... you can find versions with and without diecast apparently.

It's obviously because you can't rescue anyone from anything properly without moving earth. Building's on fire? Dig a hole around it so it doesn't spread. Somebody's hurt? Shelter 'em in the bucket until the ambulance arrives. Excavators...a million and one uses in an emergency.

How's that Nemesis Prime? I looking for a new Chug one. I used to use the LT03b (KO Legendary Toys Striker Manus) but he's a bit too movie-verse inspired for good ol' chuggin

Pretty good, the shoulders, legs outward and legs sideways are ratcheted (the gaps might be a tad too far out though). There are slight modification: the arm kibble is moved to the back, and the back kibble itself can be folded more to give a narrower body profile. Transformation is mostly the same, and rolls well. Has some heft.

Soft friction knees (why?) are still annoying but at least it won't flop easily over like the Megatron. The axe feels loose in its hand. Doesn't come with ion blaster.

    Overall, value for money.

It's MP-scale. Approx 23cm/9in (standing straight with feet together).

I'll double up on Velsr's review. I bought both the regular and Nemesis versions of the AOYI oversized Siege Prime, and this mold is really awesome, especially for the very reasonable price.

It's not simplified, the re-engineered kibble is a clear improvement on the Hasbro version, and the materials are good. Joints mostly ratcheted and the whole figure feels sturdy as hell. I feel like some of the joints on the Nemesis version are slightly looser than the red version, but that's only by comparison. The joints are still very good.

    Only drawbacks:
    - no rifle
    - slightly retooled face sculpt

The matching Aoyi Siege Megatron is also good, but the joints are a bit softer (which I've noticed is an issue on all the Siege Megatron KOs out there). I was able to tighten the joints up a bit, and he makes for a pretty badass MP-sized Megatron, just FYI

That face sculp is the opposite of what nemesis prime should look like. Way too puffy and innocent.

Could definitely be "more evil" :lol

But in fairness, it's pretty unusual for Nemesis repaints to actually involve any resculpting. I think the recent POTP Nemesis Prime might be one of the rare exceptions.

At first glance, I thought they were some version of the Pretender Monsters.

Anyone ever find a suitable stand in gun for the aoyi mech Nemesis/Optimus - I can think of some that are the proper size but not many with the correctly scaled hand post for them. ?

    -------------

I was wondering (slightly off topic) anyone know where I could buy an NBK Combiner Wars cartoon style Deluxe size Megatron from ?
I thought I saw some on aliexpress but I have now lost them.

Anyone have this MP 01 KO? If so, how the quality? Theres only one video on youtube about it and he doesnt take it out of the box.

Ive been eyeing it for a few years now and have that itch again since Im about to put in a taobao order. I do know the smoke stacks are smaller and unpainted but the seller also sells the larger chromed upgrades.

From what i remember back in the day, quality was pretty much the same to the 20th anniversary DVD Optimus, diecast included. I think only some minor plastic tolerance issues like all the Binaltech KOs, but nothing serious

WJ OS KO of CW ( :D  ) figures are acceptable donors (though it's a bit loose fit). I'd opt for Hot Spot, actually, repaint (Chief Fire), Paul still has some in stock for $0.01 (+shipping):
