I had him. Really liked him, but still ended up selling him. He suffered a bit from "took up a bit too much space" and "just a bit too awkward to transform between modes". I like to fiddle with my TFs and he didn't quite have that fiddle factor. He definitely has shelf presence though so if that's what you prefer, he's good.

(I do always find it funny when people talk about certain large 3P figures being too small. MMC's Bruticus got the same complaints. I usually end up wishing everything was a touch smaller. Honestly, if G-Greations Sixshot was only 80-90% of his current size I'd probably absolutely love him.)

As long as they haven't changed the theme tune all will be well (I hope!)

Spreadsheets are the way. I have a toy budget spreadsheet (that my mate finds hilarious) that's been working really well. When you see your tiny budget for the rest of the year dwindling, it really helps with stopping boredom or fomo purchases, especially when you know there's juicy stuff coming that you know you really want. It also motivates selling too.

Currently I have about £50 for the rest of the year, which should cover Waspinator and tigatron, though I'm worried this Golden Disk Terrorsaur will leap out of nowhere!

If legacy pre orders begin this year, I'll push them onto the 2022 budget.

I love The Dark Knight, but I still remember at one point a few years later when someone pointed out that it's really quite Authoritarian in places. The best way of stopping crime is to put cameras everywhere and bug people!

(I dunno if that's a better or worse message than "the best way to beat crime is to dress like a bat and go out each night and punch it in the face.)

It's been a while since I've seen it, but that was kind of the point though, wasn't it? Fox even said it was wrong and asked for his p45?

Would anyone be interested in buying my boxed Play Arts Kai BvS wonder woman or Lara Croft 2013? I feel like I want a Croft from the Legend trilogy or the OG games, the actual badd ass one I like as I've really gone off the 2013 Croft as a character, and I'd like a smaller Diana who would go with my Arkham figures.

This "Beast Wars" headcanon project is getting ahead of itself. They're actually making toys of it...

Cheers, I had my doubts about it being changed to translucent plastic so thanks for confirming that.

Thanks also, guess I'll either look for a first run one or hope they do it again without the translucent black

And that's why you need to get out of that environment, have you as much as lifted up a phone to put yourself on the council waiting list ? You can't change the environment so remove yourself from it.

The problem was they sold it as He-Man (even somewhat using Faker to, well, fake the first 'proper' trailer) and Kevin Smith basically called BS on a then relatively unknown YouTube channel just for suggesting He-Man wasn't the star, declared He-Man would be front and centre, and it was all just lies from him that would inevitably be exposed. Even by blaming the fans standards it made no sense.

I'll watch any MOTU spinoff anybody comes up with (Jesus, I sat through all of WFC like an idiot), but selling an epic battle between the leads only to replace them was only ever gonna bring hate. Even ignoring the outright lies.

Honestly, there's Ladybird books that rival Revelation for the teamwork angle they may or may not have been going for*. No joke. In places some are more effectively gritty!

    * The creative decisions around this show have been retconned almost comment to comment by everyone involved. It's definitely best to just watch it for what it is and hope you find it interesting.

First daaaamn kinda want an Ark now

Second, Damn again, guessing this is 3rd party. It's beautiful.....hmm....would Hasbro do a Dinobots style take on G1 characters in generations....maybe in 5 years?

Third, just checked my hasbro pulse account and Sideswipe & Maximal Skywarp is now listed as due to be dispatched 26/08/21.

In a couple of days we get IDW Shattered Glass #1 and a couple of days after that one of my fav G1 toys gets it's true earthmode :)  Exciting stuff!

No, because I have no idea of where to start with anything like that. The level of control my folks have had over me has been such that I have very little knowledge of real life stuff.

I've never tried anything before because my confidence is that broken I didn't think it would do any good, every attempt I made for years at trying to learn different things was undermined and dismissed to the point I gave up.

It's easy for someone on the outside to say "do this" but it's never that simple.

    :lol

I've yet to see Animated but cool. I have heard good things about TFA trying a lot of 'different' stuff which I look forward to.

And indeed! I liked that Beast Megs was very much not just Megatron but a TRex and he even seemed to resent G1 Megs at times.

But yeah, the villain with depth is great when done well but sometimes a bad guy is just a bad guy :)  I think it worked so well in IDW because they went hard into the idea that being an Autobot doesn't automatically make you a good guy and being a 'con doesn't automatically make you bad.

Something new would be good :)

Was gonna say :D  she's the only one I can think of.

I'm not familiar with that one. I really need to start my 'read IDW 1.0 from the very start' sometime xD[

Indeed! And Bruce destroys it afterwards as I recall?

    :lolol
    Wow

    Also wow

    I know the problem xD

    ...

Sadness! The post on the balljoint on one of Nicee's side skirts has snapped :cry I have both pieces and it's a clean break but still, don't currently have a work area to fix it and will need to research the right sort of glue etc. I also gather when fixing balljoints it's best to put a pin in rather than just glue to strengthen it against future breakage?

FYI, if you're looking to avoid Eternals spoilers definitely give things like Funko Pops and other toys a miss. I wondered why that trailer was so barren...
