Seems odd that they are planning a live action movie that supposedly has no connection to the Bayverse when they are also being so ambiguous about ROTB’s connection to it.

 

And also an animated film as well that may or may not be related to anything.

Almost like Hasbro and Paramount have no idea what they're doing or what direction to take this franchise.

 

I mean it's Split Lip not Split Up. (but I was a dumbass and typed it in all caps. lol)

Also it's not really a good idea to split the franchise into multiple, unrelated film avenues. At best it'll be confusing and possibly redundant, at worst it'll cause competition with itself and turn people off from over-exposure.

Not really? The fandoms aren't mutually exclusive at all, with plenty of people who like both.

 

Yeah animated films are about as far as audiences can handle for a separate universe. Live action movies in different universes concurrently running aren't done for a reason.

 

Why would you want the fandom to be split?

 

In other words you can't handle the movies existing and need Hasbro to strip the transformers title from it so that only your continuity can be seen as “Transformers” and you can be in some safe bubble. Interesting selfish take on the franchise. Want to rebrand UT, Animated, TFP, IDW, Beast Wars, RID, etc as well?

 

Yeah, I've actually seen your posts. And you like to constantly go on different rants against various members on here, saying they're "Bay drunk" and "hate G1". You get all up in your feels if someone commits the cardinal sin of saying they don't want everything to be G1-inspired. So I will have a good laugh.

 

I want to apologize to the folks on here for potentially starting shit with this comment. Mods can delete if need be. Your notion that Bay fans can't handle creative liberty's is insanely ironic given that the G1 portion of this fanbase is literally known for doing nothing but complaining about everything that's come out in the last 25 years. It becomes even more hilarious because, for the last 14 years , I've had to contend with older fans constantly whining about how their childhoods were raped/destroyed by a couple of movies. Nothing has yet beat when someone said the term "geewunner" was the equivalent to a racial slur cause it turned out not everyone wanted everything to be 1:1 G1.

 

A G1 Transformers Live Action Film would bring to the big screen the magic of the original G1 Transformers cartoon, like never before! The Story, the Music, the Tone of the film, The look of the bots, the voices of the bots, the action style, how the bots act & fight, the Vehicles, the plot, Starscream Actually looking like G1 Starscream! It would be magnificent! 

 

I think a lot G1 fans would actually be fine with more change if it was good change. The Bayverse was full of name slaps, horrible characterizations, and ugly ugly designs. Seriously monstrous hideous nonsense.
