I think it's still really early in development. You'd think that the idea would be to make one that doesn't fall apart, but that's also what you'd probably think about a revamp of Toyworld's Constructor when it's called "the Perfect Edition." But you'd be wrong, so who knows.

 

Toy World's been shitting the bed a bit when it comes to movie figures.

 

The transformation is poorly designed and the plastic used in it are almost KO quality.

 

Only when most people shit the bed, they don't try to then sell you the used bedding. But Toyworld... they're different.

El Cid still haunts me. Only figure I was physically incapable of transforming. Almost tossed it across the room after an hour or so. Pieces fell off of it left and right too. Maybe it would be a decent display piece if you found it for dirt cheap and never planned to transform it. Even then, though, it doesn’t look half as good as some of the other Primes that are out there.

I am 100% in on that big ass sword AAT is releasing any day now.

I'm no expert on this figure, but I would watch that video I posted about it. I don't even think that just upgrading the plastic would help. It looked like they cheaped out on everything from hardware to packaging to paint to engineering. Just an all-around flop where no amount of care could help stave off the issues.

Same buddy. After over two hours of struggling I only got it 2/3 transformed and several pieces fell off that I wasn't able to reattach. I couldn't even get him 100% back into robot mode and ended up having to leave some kibble chunks in the box.

And yeah, I'm all about that sword they're making. They can't fuck up a transformation that doesn't exist!

I don't think it transforms, the hands are almost seamless and it lacks the hinge around the waist from the render
