I've always hated the look of this figure, but you made him look pretty awesome here.

Transmetal Waspinator! one of the few Deluxes TMs with what looks like a projectile weapon :)

Transmetal Waspinator always looked awesome. Waspinator as a supersonic jet in a badass black and red colourscheme is also oddly gratifying.

Also funnily enough, I think his weapon is supposed to be a melee weapon. He has holes in his arms for it to attach to the side like some sort of arm-blade, I think it's just coincidence/designer flourish that gave him fists capable of holding it like a gun.

I love the jet mode! Just wish more things clipped together instead of holding together via friction :)

I just tried to put the weapon in the side of the arm, and it is super loose :(  would have been awesome as another homage to starscream, but I would have to buy another figure to get two guns. The og artwork does show the weapon as a gun… I would have absolutely loved atm weapons though! I might have to gget a couple of spares and future them up!

Yeah after I said that I took both my TM Waspy and Fox Kids TM Waspy and while both peg, the connection is a bit loose on the FK version. This is all my speculation and I definitely consider it a gun, but since TMs almost exclusively used melee weapons I always figured this might have been the intention.

Great work on all of this new batch. You do a fantastic job of interpreting these figures.
