Their Optimus and Dino were an absolute mess. So they have ALOT to prove. Unique Toys/DX9 were around quite a while before they hit their Lockdown home run. Alien attack made a few upgrade kits then struck out bad with their first two releases. No way I am preordering these.

I am having anxiety about the sword of justice that's on its way to me. But at least that doesn't have any moving parts.

This looks like the polar opposite of "fun" to transform.

"HI! We thought you could use a new figure with a transformation from Hell. In fact, we thought you could use two! And yes, as always, we'll be using our world-famous "quality" plastic. ORDER NAO!"

I'll definitely buy one of those if they don't suck.

Concerns about the transformation and quality of these guys is absolutely justified.

I was going to use Firage as an example of a good transformation but that is an bit of an oddity since they used the design of a scratch built custom. The plastic quality on Firage wasn't bad in my opinion but I understand why it didn't fill people with confidence.

Their El Cid was their first original design if I'm remembering correctly and that was prone to breaking and not an intuitive transformation from what I heard.

I'm still super hyped for these but will be eagerly awaiting in hand reports to see if AA stepped up in quality.

Gosh damnit that’s good. Assuming they snagged these guys off of toyworld. Hoping a hatchet is forthcoming to complete the set.

Very excited to see how these turn out. I'm assuming Hatchet will be revealed soon. Of all the Bayverse designs sorely in need of UT style transformations, these guys would be it.

The sculpting is pretty good and so are the proportions. The size is also perfect! Can't ask for much more for an MPM style figure, especially since they are probably not candidates for official MPMs. Just hoping quality and transformation are good.

    So it's now
    - Optimus Anime Girl
    - TLK Hound
    - El Cid 2.0 (TLK Prime)
    - AoE Galvatron
    - DotM Megatron
    - DotM Crowbar and Crankcase
    - the Sword is actually out/coming
    Am I missing anything?

Hilarious of me of all people to say this, but... they look way too smooth and underdetailed for Bayformers! :D  Yeah I know, not that I like that overcomplicated style, but in themovie these two were all jagges metal parts everywhere. Here, their legs are smooth cylinders, I at first thought theyare remolds if Bw Not-Ravage....

I'm looking at the pictures and they remind me of UT Peru Kill. Maybe they will transform in a very similar fashion.

If these don’t randomly combust while transforming I’m fully in on masterpiece dreads. They’re way too cool to not have in my masterpiece collection even if I don’t collect movie figures

These look pretty solid on the whole, only complaints that I have is that the legs seem a little too smooth/under detailed. Otherwise I dig these! Heres hoping the actual figures are great. Firage was damn good in my opinion if a bit finnicky and the plastic could have been thicker but I chalk that down to the size more than anything. Their HA Leadfoot upgrade was pretty great too.

Did anyone else misread AAT as AT-AT or was that just me?

You know it would be better if they're just releasing one single good figure first (Anime girl Optimus and knight sword doesn't count),
instead of showing a lot of render without release date insight.

Oh shit, I've been scrolling through my newsfeed for the entire day thinking these were gonna be some odd-type of "licensed" DMK figures. Didn't even bother to bat an eye at them 'til just now :lol
