Yes, please for MP Raiden's combined mode looking like his TF Headmasters toon design.

 

Makes me wonder if Yukikaze will be the last Trainbot released. It would be a nice bookend for the group.

 

I wonder how they are going to release these, especially if they go toon/toy simultaneously. Don't really want to wait 3 years to finish him but I dont want this clogging up other releases.

 

A reissue I would buy instantly. I’m a vintage collector as well, but only a dilettante in that there’s no way I’ll ever get Japanese exclusives. Reissues of Raiden, Victory Saber, et al would make my day!

 

Looks like a simultaneous release of all 6 train bots...

 

Definitely coming out one at a time. Maybe 2. But once they get going I bet it’s a release every 3 months.

after all of them come out I bet there will be a gift set in Diaclone colors on TTM and it will be very exp. it also allows Raiden to have his own number in the line vs. Shouki being MP-59 and Yukikaze being MP-60 and the like.

Or maybe they will do MP-59S and MP-59Y. Oh this is neat! How will the numbers be allotted to a combiner?

Since these seem to be smaller budget figures like Skids and Reboost(which they have to be to stop Raiden from being $700+ dollars.) I would imagine a release similar to the Seacons would be most likely. 1-2 figure for around $100 released together in 3 in batches every 2-3 months.

Gray is the color that ties them together adding cohesion.

The other colors allow for the combined mode to look like it's the combing together of different characters while also making each character visually unique. Which I'm very glad they did, as if they were all similar colors they'd be harder to tell apart. Thankfully they also have very unique heads.  

 

I wonder if they’ll do some of the flaring seen on the lower legs or go for the straight up boxy look. Those bot pics look sexy.

 

I was going to say no because of Shouki’s leak but after looking at the animation models he’s the only one without the flared legs isn’t he? Well well well! The rest of the bots could definitely have some 44/52 legs. Sexy sexy!

 

Wonder how are they going to do the legs? The arm bots are actually similar, designing one is pretty much designing the other. The legs are similarly designed bots, different altmodes, that would take some serious respelling/remolding to pull off. We

 

The arms are similar and the legs are similar. That's great news. Takara can invest in two molds and have four of the six members covered.

 

Actually I hadn’t considered the gray being used on purpose to tie the gestalt together. It really does make the animation model look great. I’ve never liked having a completely red arm, and the other arm is orange, and a leg is purple. It looks horrible. Like Autobot Spike or something. But Raiden looks fantastic with the little variances of color all over him with the main color being gray.

also I just wanted to comment on those individual bot pics. You’re right about the head sculpts. They’re actually fantastic! And the colors on the individual bots are amazing! The somewhat ‘primer’ paint color accents on Kaen, Getsuei, and Seizan are really growing on me. I’m very excited for those 3 in particular.
