No denying this thing looks incredible. Loving the face sculpt in particular, and the back and the sides of the torso really sing. The fusion canon proportions are a little weird, but it almost reads as intentionally stylized/heightened, so I can dig it.

Then again "prototype looks sweet" is never the problem with XTB. And FT Sovereign is one of my favorite toys (I don't even get why people say it's hard to transform), so I'm not even considering this until we've gotten a wealth of glowing reviews about the build quality and engineering.

Though if you did want to tempt me...

Despite being a Marvel Comics > Cartoon guy, I tend to prefer toon color schemes... but in this case, looking at that artwork is giving me a serious case of "Shut Up and Take My Money."

Think my biggest sticking point are the face sculpts. They kinda got that early 3P feel to 'em with how gaunt and angular/hard edged they are
And the cannon's maybe a bit short and bulgey lookin. But I applaud everything else! The body's very clean and pretty right on with the toon

 

Looks OK. Not replacing FT Soveriegn. Unless this starts up Soveriegn 2.0... LOL

 

Looks so smooth it looks like he\'s wearing slacks from the front.

I\'d say I\'m interested, but before that could happen I\'d have to see an XTB transformation video that didn\'t horrify me to my core.

 

The proto looks great, but appearance has never been their problem. Since I have FT's, I will hold off and see what the quality's like before deciding. If I like it enough, I might just sell off FT's.

I agree the cannon looks too fat. Make it skinnier! It's not Megatron's gun.

Give it the finish that Scourge got and Cyclonus didn't. Never sell a quality mold short by giving it a lame deco.

 

Hmmm, aesthetically looks better than the FTs offering yet is weirdly chubby, the arms are anatomically too short and I dont like the face or helmet.

 

yeah im fine without this but if they do marvel colorscheme i could be convinced

I can not stop seeing the gaps in the knee bend. It would be nice to see something there to cover over it or some detailing added so it won\'t look like it\'s holding on by a scrap of skin (so to speak). Other than that it looks good! I\'m happy for those looking forward to this release. I\'m good with the choice I made for my MP scaled Galvatron. XTB got me for three other releases coming up and I will likely get their Preceptor too.

 

These face sculpt IMO looks too Disneylandish to me. Meh.

 

I have  Fans toys &  DX9  MP galvatrons. So  Easy pass for me.I think  if  Takara  ever does a   galvatron I would him too. Have no clue why they never did you don\'t  need  a license  Or  nothing for him.

 

Fussion cannon is a little big, but otherwise it's outstanding. Best Galvatron ever, in my opinion. Let's wait for the reviews, I'm perfectly happy with New Age and Hasbro's offerings right now.

 

That cannon looks awful but the rest of him looks great. If I remember this was practically announced way back when Apollyon was still not out yet; probably for the better it got held back this long as it should be more solid

 

I think it looks great minus the gap in the shin/knee, which makes it asymmetrical. The proportions look right on this one. It's very similar to the G1 model shown. XTB has been dropping lots news lately, but where is Virtus?

If the prototype matches this overhead view, Abaddon has very little backpack.

 

I don't think so. Fanstoys fans are a TF subclass on their own, some people only collect FT. Sovereign is recognized as one of the most popular FT toys, which pleases a wider public than, let's say, Kup or Arcee. I don't think it going down.
