Ditto although I’d love to see it in Shockwave/toon colours too. As Fans Hobby have shown with Power Baser (and several of their other figures) they aren’t afraid of doing repaints (let’s face it; surely a FH Armada Galvatron is only a matter of time?)

I had the thought the other day of an all nautical/ocean-themed line. Maybe that would be a bit excessive, but there certainly some sea-faring bots that could use some love.

 

How could I forget that funky Energon colour scheme???

Western retailer has him at $150, so places like Showz may have him for even cheaper.

 

Oddly enough, FH stuff doesn’t seem to go for much cheaper at Chinese retailers, when they’re cheaper at all. Only if you compare to what TFSsource is charging for everything now.

 

Cool! That's a very fair price IMO. I'll definitely grab a Galvy repaint too if it's good.

Will it really release in December? FH has had some pretty exceptional delays. Whatever, I'd gladly wait another year to have this bot. Very exciting!

 

I’m noticing TCP has been following in TFS footsteps with jacked up prices recently. Which makes me sad since they’ve always had great service at least.

EDIT: they updated the price to match everyone else. TFsource also has it up now!

 

They seem to have gone for more toy colours than toon colours, with the digital colouring seeming to oversaturate the purple.


Really only thing's I would want changed would be the oranges to orangish-red or red and a more toon shade of purple. But other than that he looks great.

 

I dont recall his grey being that dark, so I'm hoping that much is tweaked before release but goddamn hes so pretty

 

It wasn't that dark, but as somebody who uses Photoshop on digi-bashes for fun, I really do think the saturation of the colours is due to that, as it's like that on Leader-1 as well . So now we wait for the in-hand coloured prototypes.

 

Huh I'm actually surprised he isn't a lot cheaper since he uses much less plastic than Naval Commander. I wonder if the costs to make all those replacement parts trickled into this figure.

 

I think most of the replacement costs were factored into the 2nd runs price hike. Went from 200 to 230 or so I think. I think Megatron is just deceptively involved and it looks like his treads are plastic links rather than the rubber band of NC's trailer.
